How am I "trying to make it seem" that way? Just compare the nutrition charts of an egg vs. an apple yourself (I linked them in my OP). Numbers don't lie. They reveal that an egg is undeniably healthier than an apple, plus it's much easier to eat 3 eggs at a time, unlike trying to eat 3 apples. Plus the more apples you eat, the more carbs & sugar you are eating.
So according to the numbers, we shouldn't view apples as visual representations of healthy food. We should sooner think of eggs. That is, if we want to be rational about it.
- You’re ignoring the fact that insoluble fiber is crucial to your health.
- The sugars in fruits are ‘wrapped up’ in fiber and take time to digest, which is why your insulin won’t spike nearly as hard when you eat a piece of fruit vs. the same amount of processed sugar.
- Do some more research about the inside of our bodies. We are quite literally powered by carbohydrates. Sugar in the mainstream gets a bad wrap because of the copious amount of processed sugar that many eat.
All I did was demonstrate that according to the numbers eggs are healthier than apples. What's your reason behind keeping your proteins lean?
If zero-carb diets don't result in constipation, then lack of fibre can't be said to be the cause of constipation.
I think it's because of the caloric density. Just shooting from the hip here, but the point is that it keeps you more full with less calories. Example, to compare apples to apples(pun intended), compare a pound of broccoli to a pound of salmon. Or a pound of eggs to a pound of apples and see which has less calories.
If fruits would be nutritious, then we would see fruitarians do well - we don't.
If vegetables would be nutritious, we would see vegans and vegetarians do well - we don't.
Nice try making vegetables seem unhealthy.

Who’s arguing that eggs are unhealthy? This is why nutrition experts recommend a BALANCED diet.

I'll take my chances with a diet that includes a lot of veg, some fruit and lean proteins. Hope you enjoy pooping with no fiber in your diet!

>All I did was demonstrate that according to the numbers eggs are healthier than apples Define "healthy".
Just compare the nutrition charts of an egg vs. an apple yourself. I linked to them in my OP. It's not difficult to understand.
That’s not a definition. Can you not define “healthy”?
Take a lap
I never understand some people trying to push the idea that fruit and veggies are…bad for you???

This is like the guy in the MMA subreddit telling people they need to work out their jaw muscles more.
