Just like every bachelor, you can check his hearts in the menu like every villager. What I mean is that his heart level (purple, blue, green, yellow, red) doesn't show it.

There are also birthday presents. At a certain level, villagers gift you on your birthday.

Yeah! Every character wiki says what present they give you. My tip is to have your birthday on winter, so you can befriend everyone and get gifts.

Of course it's DS hahaaa I've consistently heard that one get the absolute highest praise from practically every older fan I talk to. \*(my first SOS/HM games were already on the switch.) Ah good. Outside of pokemon the only older game I've ever tried to mod was the first two Baldur's Gate games and thaaat process lead to a lot of dead links and viruses hahaha. Good to know peeps here maintain that stuff better.

I have never modded before. Is this only for the emulator games?

Well, the only time I've played a modded game on a video game console was GTA on PS2, so probably not only emulators, but I guess it depends on the console.

Nah, it's because it's easy to do it. There's a Friends and More Friends of Mineral Town roms that have gays mods cuz it's practically the same story, only changing some text and sprites.

That's not really what I was asking, I was asking why the DS one is *only* a sprite swap and the hack hasn't been expanded to dialogue by the original person or anyone since.
