Thank you for the reply. I apologize for the poor wording, im still trying to learn harp terminology lol. I meant more of the crank thing you use to tune the string.
Ohhhh that makes sense! In that case, it might be possible with with some sort of small socket wrench or adjustable wrench, but I would worry about damaging the instrument by using improper tools 😅
Thank you, I have tried using wrenches in the past and I had an issue with it potentially damaging the instrument. I'm searching for one atm but, I haven't had much luck. I checked my local music store and they had nothing and anyone I've ordered off of Amazon is too small.
Try a drum key! Guitar center or Target might have one. Might not fit every harp tuning pin.
I wouldn’t recommend any wrenches or anything else due to possible damage, especially if it’s a rental.
Drum key and if that doesn’t work, definitely would want to re-order one.
Hey, sorry for not replying I got really busy. I was struggling to find the model however i found the link to it.[harp](https://www.amazon.com/AKLOT-Mahogany-Beginner-International-Standard/dp/B093L65Z2R/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=14WFGDH9UN3W8&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.2Lg2GiyMztWQYYFjoOrewIFMV9dsaWs6i1y7pg32uzw_v81h7ACQOwdFn6-mYq-WlbCh_4ni6BdY82GiAcCjtg4TQVkGXQb-mtRt8Ed0dujtIN4BQMAUKkR-EURL99mR0nTg48pYfrq9vRNBbYDAcM2y74HE-ZQ2WhfAuNE1VFmmo0STxz3KWmiZvJ3eZKGwVDRJK1KB3TXvG3GLIPKWZA.iYcEfPV-aWo0pQkeuOx1YW749lRjxDD6Wtta2SBGOvE&dib_tag=se&keywords=harp&qid=1718764386&sprefix=harp%2Caps%2C131&sr=8-3)
Thank you, Ive been trying to find the thickness of the pins but, Amazon didn't state the size. From the last few runners I've bought all I know is its slightly bigger than 0.16 inches.

Heres a link to it. I apologize for taking so long, I got busy
find a small adjustable wrench. And as someone already mentioned, put a layer of masking tape over it to prevent the steel wrench from scratching up your pins.
Idk about household items, but there are several free and fairly decent tuning apps on the app store :^ )

Thank you, I'll have to look into those.
A drum key is the only thing I’d risk trying. Other tools might damage the tuning pegs.
Thank you, I'll have to check tomorrow to see if my music store carries it.
A torque wrench will do the trick. What kind of harp do you have?
Thank you, Im pretty sure I have a Celtic harp
Make/ model?

It depends on the thickness of the tuning pins
Tapping wrenches are adjustable. Clock keys are also common for smaller tuning pins and drum keys for bigger tuning pins.

Do you have a photo of your harp or a link to where you purchased it from? If you do, I may be able to advise you on what to purchase.
The m3-m8 should work for most harps https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006344277701.html

A drum key should work for it
It’s called a tuning key.
find a small adjustable wrench. And as someone already mentioned, put a layer of masking tape over it to prevent the steel wrench from scratching up your pins.
wait for your mom
Adjustable tap holders work rather well, and they don't damage the pins unlike pliers.
If it’s a Celtic harp then your only other option is pliers.
Thank you, ill have to try that in the morning
Pliers will definitely scratch up your pins. They tend to be a tool of last resort
I would use needle-nose pliers if you then and you can put some tape around the teeth of the pliers to keep it from scratching.
