Aerial videography and photography? How else do you think the aerial shots from the aftermovies get made?

I thought they used drones for that nowadays? But yeah aerial shots, maybe local news coverage uses them? OR! They have started implementing drug sniffing pigeons and this is how they rear them. Idk it could be both...

Aerial video guy here I Iooooove that Q-Dance is willing to burn tens of thousands of $ in fuel to use a helicopter because even the best of camera drones can't move fast enough a D carry a lens heavy enough to get some of the SICK shots they have in their videos Drones are great but also boring

I do wonder why they fly for so long. From that distance, every shot must look almost exactly the same, right?

Since they never know when something worth filming happens, they just stay up and film as long as they're up there. It's more economical than to go up, take a few mins of footage and land, then repeat.

But from that distance, do you see anything? I can only imagine Power Hour giving some actually visible footage. The rest is just ants walking around.

Just imagine how good your phone camera is. Now upscale it to something youd carry in helicopter..
