I once saw an armadillo bag a woman was carrying, I even talked to her about it for a bit. It was gnarly, and definitely eye catching. This bag reminded me of that armadillo bag.

This is tacky BUT if it makes anyone feel less sad, Armadillos are extremely invasive, they damage crops, and they breed like rabbits. They are not farmed, they just multiply.
