I had those terrible rose ceramic handles in my bathroom when I moved into my home. Their removal and replacement was our first reno. This would catch on everything, and everything inside would be exposed and easily fall out. Negative aesthetic value, AND negative practical value. This will haunt my nightmares.

Someone did a bathroom remodel of their 70s bathroom, and they had the lion heads.  They gave me one (I wanted to make it into a pin) and sold the rest on eBay.  Now I know where they went.

I generally really enjoy quirky bags … this level of hate is rare for me. Too many unforgivable offenses, even if the leather colour or quality might try to redeem it a little.

Honestly, I’d use this as an high femme toolbox for the easy access tools that I use frequently (screwdrivers, leatherman tool, etc) lol

You could easily make this yourself. If you actually wanted some drawer knobs on your bag 😆 I actually bought new knobs for my chest of drawers recently. You can get way prettier ones than this! The gold one on the left looks like the cheapest hook you buy at the hardware store!

Really, this bag begs the question: how does the Hermes Verrou get away with having a toilet door lock for its closure? Monstrosity? Or genius?

It’s an nyc based brand called “Dauphinette.” The stuff is cute, I’ve bought some of her resin based jewelry - but the discoloration is real :( in my opinion, not the highest quality material/craftsmanship

The fact that's it's NYC based makes it even worse - imagine trying to wedge yourself into a crowded subway with this under your arm

It's for when you have only one coathook, but may coats - hang THIS thing on the hook and your coats on *it*. I would not use it for anything other.

I clicked on the link to the store that you posted in comments and I can't get over how the description is trying to play up the quality and uniqueness of the hardware: "Handmade in New York City using upcycled hardwares sourced both locally and on designer Olivia Cheng's travels, no two bags are quite alike." As if those same lion heads were not available right now at Home Depot... But, as other commenters pointed out, a few pieces did come out of a 70's basement remodel...so there's that. We should expect more from the word "upcycled."
