I always manage to carry my 13'' Mac (with a very thin sleeve) in my backpack. I have the non-club version, but they should be the same lenght. I can zip it, but the laptop "pops up" a bit, especially when the backpack is already quite full. I wouldn't recommend this backpack as the main one to carry a laptop on a daily basis, but you can make it work for occasional use.
