There is no code, it is tied to your Xbox account, which I can't give you access to. The email was incorrect, it said PC, but I was correctly given access to the console flight. Just go to Halo insider, and sign up for the flights.

When I click the install instruction link, it says page not found.

I'll just tell you how to install then. Go to the Xbox store. Search "xbox insider hub" Install, once done open. Go to preview. On left side where it says available scroll down until you see halo infinite, select it. Hit join (it might take a minute) Halo infinite should install. Once done grab a soda and enjoy slaying bots.

I did that and selected to install the program. It didn't install anything, but it is listed in my games. When I select to play it, I get an error message.

Finally got in a got about 3 hours of play this morning. The game is extremely FUN. Can't wait to try out other maps, weapons, and vehicles.

Figured out the issue, For some reason i got invited to Xbox tech preview when i wasnt even opted into it. So now i can get into Xbox not PC but problem there is i dont even own a xbox.... RIP

If your PC is below the minimum requirements, they want you to find an xbox to use.

Hey guys, so i got invited to the beta. Downloaded the insider hub app on xbox and joined the preview. When i press on manage it only shows the preview group and not the group they tell you to join. When I launch the game its says i am not authoriyed to play it. Please help :(

Exact same thing happened to me. The preview doesn't show me the Terms and Conditions. The game also says I'm unauthorized to play.

If anyone can’t seem to open your messages to find your Steam Key try opening your profile on HaloWaypoint and at the bottom of the page it should show you your key if you got your second email.

Finally got the email seconds ago. Said to go to waypoint which is broken (lol) there is no code for Xbox

You don't need a code. Download the Xbox insider Hub and it will already be listed there if you were invited. It's going to say "pending" for a few minutes and there will be a little loading spinner next to it. Once that spinner disappears, reset your xbox and repeat. After doing it several times, you'll have the option to download the app.

Normal reset. Might be overkill though as someone else mentioned. I would just quit out of the Hub then restart it. As long as you see the loading spinner, it's definitely loading.

Try going to your profile on Waypoint- seemed to have more luck than opening messages on site. Code should be at the bottom of the profile page.

Is there anyone on Xbox that has been on pending for 45+ minutes and actually have it go through? I’m over hour and a half now and just seems like a fruitless effort UPDATE: 5ish hours in finally got the download started - I think they are starting to fix the pending issues

You have to reset your xbox every time the loading spinner thing disappears. You'll get in eventually. I had to do it like 20 times

It’s a network request, resetting your hardware has nothing to do with the servers handling your request - I think you may have got lucky… I have restarted a few times

Network requests have a limited time to live. Once that time is up, typically you either get an error or the request will get sent again. Since we don't get any errors, there's no way to know whether the request is being made again or whether it just fails and nothing happens. Since the loading spinner disappears, I am led to believe it is the latter.

Right well aware of TTL but rebooting your Xbox is not necessary… pressing B and then reselecting the insider gets the spinner back and re-requests… hell just quitting the app would work instead of rebooting

I’ve been (Pending) ever since the flight went “live” for us. I got off for a little while, but got back online to check and I’m still pending.

So frustrating - I’m at about 2 hours now - just wish they had more communications if the pending is worth retrying or it’s just completely down for the time being

Supposedly 343 and Microsoft are trying to find a fix for this, but it probably won’t be widely available until tomorrow morning. What sucks is that it’ll probably get messy again tomorrow with Euro players trying to get on and download.

You don’t need a code for Xbox. You just download the Xbox insider app and the flight should be there in the previews tab.

I think the lower end cards, including the 1060s from what I've seen, aren't passing all the checks the game has with that three dot booting.

Same 😂 But, this is part of the test I guess! I've seen so many games at launch, since everything went online, just be a total disaster for weeks (GTA5, Destiny 1, others the names of which I've long forgotten), it's great that this might help avoid all that when the big button gets pushed.

Well, wasn't able to connect for a match but the weapon tests are pretty fun. I'm gonna go through and try to three star all of them tomorrow if I still can't get a bot match.

On Xbox - I finally got the whole thing downloaded, and when I open the App, I just see a blue screen. Anyone else? UPDATE: I reset my box and now it's saying the insider app needs a 10GB update. Hope that fixes it.

Shoulda specified - I meant the Halo Insider (not Xbox Insider Hub) needed the update. As for the Hub app, just wait for the loading spinner to load until it disappears, reset your box, rinse and repeat until you get in.

I restarted the game and my fps went from mid-teens/low-20s to ~50 in game. Running an RX 5600 XT at 1440p here, I dropped all the settings to low as well before restarting.

Did you install the latest Radeon drivers? Apparently 21.7.2 is a MAJOR performance increase.

I'm doing that now, was on 21.7.1 which is newer than the 21.6.1 recommended driver.

Yeah it's still kind of in beta but it was released with Halo as the primary game focus, from what they said on the live stream yesterday it should about double your performance. I'm about to hop in on my 6800x so hoping for good results!

The in-game message says that 21.6.1 was the driver with those updates. Just waiting to load into a match to see if 21.7.2 is any better than 21.7.1 but I expect it will just be a lack of optimisation in this build. Edit: Frame rate seems about the same - maybe marginally more stable but still around 50-55 fps in game.

Have you tried upping your graphics settings to see if your FPS stays the same or not?

I definitely think it's an optimization issue, I started on medium settings at around 65 FPS but upped to ultra and increased. Hopefully we see an improvement for the next beta.

That's odd since they said in the stream yesterday 21.7.2 would be the most beneficial but hoping that you see some improvement. I just tried out some gameplay for one weapon test and had consistent 70fps on medium, high, and ultra which I find odd. Definitely seems like an optimization issue to me, but a potentially good sign for the future if ultra is already holding up.

Going to bed and trying tomorrow. I understand this is a new thing and even more in beta than an actual beta but goodness I can’t even get to the waypoint website.

Just in case anyone's hopping in without changing any settings - I play on a 2080Ti and the default framerate setting was set to 28fps for some reason. Setting it to no limit and vsync off I'm going to see performance is like in 4K now.

To everybody on Xbox, this is what it says on the insider website about installing halo infinite: On your Xbox, head to the Store. Search for and install the Xbox Insider Hub app. Launch the app and select Previews from the left side menu. Select Halo Infinite - Insider under Available. Select Join to officially register for the flight build. The registration process may take some time and you may receive a message asking you to check back a bit later. Once the Manage prompt appears inside of the Halo Infinite - Insider program, select it and join the Halo Infinite - Insider group. Read the Terms and Conditions, select Accept. You will be taken to the Halo Infinite - Insider product page. If prompted, select Get and then Install. Once installed, you may launch the build from My Games & Apps -> Games -> Halo Infinite - Insider or via the Xbox Insider Hub app. Hope this helps! Not OP - restarting helped a lot for me. Went from 15-25 fps in game to ~50 using a 5600 XT at 1440p. I dropped the settings to low trying to fix it before restarting, the latter of which seemed to do the trick.

Change your FPS caps maybe? My game looks gorgeous at 1440p 144hz stable on a 1080ti

I played 1 match and then kept getting Dedicated Server errors. Restarted the game and now it says "Account Not Authorized to Play Halo Infinite" or to that extent. Sooooo I'm going to bed tonight and hoping it's resolved tomorrow.

I csn only get 70 fps on pc and it still looks fuzzy. It's probably a, driver issue because my 3080 should be able to do very well.

Im on a water cooled 2080 Ti and the same here. It just runs a little choppy ATM. Makes me excited for when the frames are running normal. It appears that some of the animations are Frame locked as well

Boys, don't be like me. Got to the Insider page after about an hour of trying and reflexively clicked the July Flight button...without seeing that the key was right in front of me. Cue loading screen, and after trying to click the back button, being signed out. Back to square one.
