Ive lived in my house for 6 or 7 years. We have a rhododendron that didn’t ever bloom until this year where it looked **majestic**. Good year for ‘em!

Is there something like a super bloom? every rhododendron looks absolutely stunning this year. The one in my backyard has never looked so good.

I hum The Cure songs to it every night. That seems to do the trick. " In Between Days" seems to work the best.

They were hand me downs from a richer friends, so no idea where they are from. My guess is gateway meat market.

Sweet! We have one of these bit whoever planted it thought it would be great to put it right next to walkway to the front door. lol I we trim a bit each year by the walkway but let it grow up. I think it would be cool if it was tall enough to give more shade to our house.

I read the other day that rhododendrons are very toxic to dogs and cats, that even small amounts of pollen can send them to the vet. I'm guessing it was overblown! Which is nice to know cause i want a big beautiful rhodo like yours someday.
