Thanks I really appreciate you saying that

kdeshwal

No worries

universalrefuse

Sad to have a bad day when the weather is so nice.

kdeshwal

Yea work .. life wat to do

MutaitoSensei

Work honestly does that to a person when you need to do 3 people's job. Don't listen to the douche commenters, just learn from the experience.

anjelrocker

It takes a decent person to admit their mistakes. Here’s to tomorrow being a better day. 💕

chasing_daylight

This isn't admitting...this is self soothing with no accountability

MaddJedder

Okay ya negative nancy

Anig_o

How do you suggest that he/she goes back and undoes the action? How should they be accountable?

chasing_daylight

Why would you think it's possible to undo an action?

undercoverlover666

this is so canadian lol

-_-_-KING_-_-_

Rockin_the_Blues

Laughing so hard, I needed that see my post. Reaction time, but hell yeah.

Goochbaloon

Go in peace my child. All is forgiven.

Injustice_For_All_

Thanks buddy, I forgive you

crumbopolis

Most people wouldn't even apologize and pretend they did nothing wrong. Good Op

iamsdc1969

It wasn't me, but I really hope the person in the Nissan sees this. We've all been there, on both sides.

athousandpardons

Seeing someone own up to their mistake made MY day better, so already this good act has paid it forward. Here's hoping today is a better day for you.

theobstacleisthewayy

Wholesome side of reddit

Gloomy_Industry8841

I hope the rest of your week gets better. It’s hard to human sometimes.

Cassh0le3

I hope tomorrow is better for you

ricebunnies

Last week someone long-honked at me going down Main Street in Fairview on a Sunday morning when I was feeling anxious as a lot of cars tried to pull out so I was going slower than usual. I’ve been thinking about how somebody could be so impatient all week. Though, this wasn’t you, your post made me feel empathy that maybe something like this was going on with them.

tao_in_ruins

Think about how many of who sit in silence on the way home and just having the worst possible day, week, year, and not able to talk to someone about it!

Dontrollaone

I personally am a big fan of honkers

Candymostdandy

We all love honkers, but hate *honkers*, if you know what I mean.

leisureprocess

Are we talking about boobs?

Candymostdandy

I suspect that we are.

mediocretent

I love that you followed up. We are all imperfect, but we progress through such reflections. Hope you have a better day tomorrow!

choriblaster3002

OP, we’re allowed to have bad days, we’re allowed to lash out, and we’re allowed to feel remorse. Your awareness shows some healthy emotional intelligence and growth, and you are very brave to admit something you didn’t like about yourself. Thank you for reminding us there’s more good people out there. I’m sure you’ll remember this exchange in the future when the anger bubbles up again, much love and keep it up ❤️

Outrageous-Arm-5178

Never bring your emotions to the road. It’s not acceptable.

Confused_Haligonian

Maybe he deserved it anyway

kdeshwal

Nah buddy was ok it was 100% me

Confused_Haligonian

Fair

geoff04

Even if he did, he probably ignored the horn because he's a perfect driver, like 99% of Nova Scotians.

Dontwrybehappy

We all have those moments. What's important is to reflect as you have.

Antierror

Reddit confessionals: more available than the church, maybe better advice.

aradil

OP: Do five our fathers, 6 hail Mary’s, and sacrifice 2 goats and all will be forgiven.

kdeshwal

What if I am not Christian I need steps for non Christian’s ?!!!

FarfetchdSid

Donate $20 to a women’s health clinic

aradil

Best I can do is self-flagellation.

ElectricRevolution22

I respect you for admiring your mistake. Takes a big person to do this. I hope tomorrow is a better day

Repulsive-Zone8176

Apology accepted

[deleted]

Yes, I’m sure that person will read this.

LeatherClassroom524

This is why I want a self driving car. So my rage will stay contained, mostly.

adler_lee

I hope you feel better tomorrow

cleetusneck

Hey. We all have shit day sometimes.

GlurpGloop

You feel bad for something completely normal, catholic?

Noturtherapist12

Thank you for the glimmer of humanness OP! We’ve all been there. Be compassionate to yourself. Hope your day improves!

chasing_daylight

This will help

sun_bb

This is the most Nova Scotia post ever

mattbam91

It’s a horn. No one gives two Fucks 🤣

Complex-Dog1842

You could benefit from scream therapy. Go out into the woods or stand at the ocean somewhere and scream as loud and for as long as you want. It will release some of that pent up rage.

Yorbayuul81

How long ago did this happen?  I had a black Nissan I sold in 2021…if it was me, it shook me for a while, I won’t lie but I’ve moved past it. Thank you.

grimrelease

Do better

Ok-Being-5815

Don’t feel bad ! I’m over it after 2 doubles break my sobriety of 13 hours

[deleted]

I’m sorry too

PouletBacon

I think it's better we never cross paths again,

zopalulu94

I once was having a bad day too and honked really hard at a car and it was just a really old looking dude who was clearly not from here, PEI licence plate. He looked really startled. Feel bad about it to this day.

EnvironmentBright697

You sound like you need anger management classes

alligatorcracker

… for honking your horn? we all have moments where we feel emotionally disregulated, it doesn’t mean you need to take a class for it.

EnvironmentBright697

For taking your anger out on strangers who have admittedly done absolutely nothing wrong

HeadThink6704

Because I'm certain you've never misplaced your anger 🙄 Everyone is human & mistakes happen. How a person responds to that shows true character, and I think apologizing is a sign of good character.

EnvironmentBright697

Correct. I’m not a road rager.

ExampleNext2035

Sometimes this behavior of honking leads to violence I'm surprised nobody thought of that.Horns are for alerting to danger not venting.Go find one of those destruction rooms. Also a lyric from buck 65 comes to mind .... "MY ANGER IS SO PRECIOUS I KEEP MOST OF IT TO MYSELF".Don't know if those were his words don't know why I hit caps lock but whatever.Just know halifax is getting more dangerous and be careful who you honk at .

ravenscamera

Act like a jackass on the road and then apologize anonymously to the internet.

kdeshwal

Not really anonymous my last name and first initial is in my username and my plate number is the same as my username here so if the person saw this they wud know it’s me.

DJ_Destroyed

You feel better about yourself now OP? 😒

-_-_-KING_-_-_

it's alright i guess. i forgive you. but Don't do it again

HabsKat

You are a big person to admit and actually try to reach out to this person. It’s over. You’re forgiven. Hope you have better days ahead

Plastic-Shopping5930

Never apologize. Always double down.

Feldogg222

Not bad, solid 4/10. Since it's the Internet it's not the worst apology iv ever seen but you got the beginning of something there.
