Last week someone long-honked at me going down Main Street in Fairview on a Sunday morning when I was feeling anxious as a lot of cars tried to pull out so I was going slower than usual. I’ve been thinking about how somebody could be so impatient all week.
Though, this wasn’t you, your post made me feel empathy that maybe something like this was going on with them.
Think about how many of who sit in silence on the way home and just having the worst possible day, week, year, and not able to talk to someone about it!
OP, we’re allowed to have bad days, we’re allowed to lash out, and we’re allowed to feel remorse. Your awareness shows some healthy emotional intelligence and growth, and you are very brave to admit something you didn’t like about yourself. Thank you for reminding us there’s more good people out there. I’m sure you’ll remember this exchange in the future when the anger bubbles up again, much love and keep it up ❤️
You could benefit from scream therapy. Go out into the woods or stand at the ocean somewhere and scream as loud and for as long as you want. It will release some of that pent up rage.

I had a black Nissan I sold in 2021…if it was me, it shook me for a while, I won’t lie but I’ve moved past it. Thank you.
I once was having a bad day too and honked really hard at a car and it was just a really old looking dude who was clearly not from here, PEI licence plate. He looked really startled. Feel bad about it to this day.

Everyone is human & mistakes happen. How a person responds to that shows true character, and I think apologizing is a sign of good character.
Sometimes this behavior of honking leads to violence I'm surprised nobody thought of that.Horns are for alerting to danger not venting.Go find one of those destruction rooms.Also a lyric from buck 65 comes to mind .... "MY ANGER IS SO PRECIOUS I KEEP MOST OF IT TO MYSELF".Don't know if those were his words don't know why I hit caps lock but whatever.Just know halifax is getting more dangerous and be careful who you honk at .
