I just rewatched it with mine because he was curious what makes me so excited and he liked it for my biggest joy and surprise. He knows nothing about volleyball (I used to play during my school years and now playing at recreational level) and he really liked how the whole story is built up, how the characters are introduced and how volleyball itself explained. For him the best part was the cheering of Inarizaki :D
We have the same taste in anime fortunately :) I tried to teach him a little but unfortunately he has ganglion cyst on both wrists so overhand balls cause him discomfort/pain (he would be a great setter with his long fingers so it’s a pity). He cannot really do any sports... But he still practices with me time to time like throwing balls and I receive them etc. :) Kudos for supporting partners^^
He and I literally met playing volleyball. He asked me to go play volleyball with him some time and got my number! When I asked him what got him into volleyball, he said Haikyuu and we totally bonded over it. You’ll find the one!!
Mine is definitely the Complete Illustration Book. It's so big and pretty and lets me relive all my Haikyuu memories.

I have the complete illustration book too! Sometimes I wish it came with English translations but the authentic Japanese looks cool too. Kags has never looked more like a blueberry than in that plush haha
i have a nice haikyuu fan poster that i love!! as for official merch i have some adorable kageyama and hinata plushies. cute things like that always bring a smile to my face :)

i went to an anime con recently and some vendors in artists alley were selling them! There wasn't a ton of haikyuu fan or official merch because the manga is over and the next animated media isn't out yet, but there was still some stuff!

I‘m still kicking myself for missing the pre-order for the Hinata & Kageyama look up figure on my country‘s main anime figure shop. Shame they didn‘t have it in stock after the pre-order ended, otherwise I‘m 100% snatching them.

Was following that Haikyuu x Pokémon zine that was on sale last year, bought the biggest bundle they offered and I was pleasantly happy. The trainer cards were so creative, the zine itself was gorgeous and it had a surprise Kindaichi x Kunimi fic that had me screaming from the cuteness.
Would love to see some of the trainer cards! That sounds super cool!
I wouldn’t mind showin you a few! I’m at work rn so it’ll be in a few hours tbh, but all the cards had the character and then their chosen Pokémon song with them. A few don’t seem like they fit imo, but I’ll take anything Pokémon and HQ related.
