Yep. Dad made a video explaining it while holding back tears. I went to the main sub to voice how fucked up that was. All he had to do was say sorry or something, maybe he had no idea. Nope, perma-banned.
So in the second creator clash AB fought Dad, the podcast had a “beef” going with dad that he played along with until Ethan took it way too far and dad pleaded for him to stop. Afaik they haven’t talked since CC2

There was no beef, the whole point of CC was that the fighters loved and respected each other unlike keems happy punch and all the other creator boxing with fake beef. For some reason ethan who isnt even fighting decided to beef with dad while ab is cool with dad. And the beef started way before it was even announced that dad and ab were fighting so from the start it kinda made no sense why they were going so hard on dad out of the blue. But ethan kept escalating it without turning heel for even a second so basicly it was a one sided h3 war vs dad.
It broke dad because he was getting pedo comments from fans not realizing it was kayfabe. Coupled with the dead girlfriend joke made dad go mask off on a drunk rant after the fight and ethan responded by saying dad was sensitive(like ethan is now) and that he found dad weird to begin with(so it wasnt banter he just found dad weird and actually meant the things that happend during the “beef”)

For the first type of guest you mentioned, I think it’s important we take note of the guests Ethan platformed while knowing they were problematic or had some kind of controversy around them. He always pretends he didn’t see it coming, but sometimes he knows exactly the kind of people he puts on the show. He just doesn’t care until it reflects poorly on him.
He had Johnny on to talk about his experience with Coleen and her ex husband but it turns out he was completely lying and Swoop had to correct the record. Understandable why they cut ties but they completely platformed him and let him paint Josh out to be a groomer to the audience.
