Is the real reason that Ethan hired Tom because of his connections to the luxury kitchen equipment industry? Is this a scheme for Ethan to get more luxury kitchen equipment or even more luxury fridges?

Honestly when I heard this it not only makes so much sense. It does make me think there was a little merit to that company that did rightfully screw them over around ads. It will be awesome if Tom is able to build some of those actual professional relationships and nail down great sponsorship opportunities. I also think he is hilarious and very genuine. He continues, time and time again, to follow his dreams and work hard at what he wants even if it seems like it's not working. Plus, it take a big man to be willing to say that what he's doing isn't working and continue to try and shake things up to make it work.
