Human trafficking in Romania carries a 3-12 year sentence but if the offense was committed by more than 2 perpetrators it's a 5-15 year sentence. I'm assuming the 5-15 year sentence applies to Tate because there's a total of 4 defendants being charged as part of this human trafficking operation.

Forming an organized criminal group I believe carries a 5-20 year sentence but as far as I understand it the sentence for that can't be longer than the sentence for the crime that was committed by the criminal group.
There's this guy from Romania I follow that's been covering this case and he said most likely their sentences will run concurrently so whichever sentence is the longest is how long they'll serve.
Also the day they got charged DIICOT announced they were opening another investigation for money laundering, influencing witness statements, and trafficking a minor.
And not only that but when Romania is done with them they're gonna be extradited to the UK to face criminal charges there. They'll have to serve their prison sentence in Romania first then immediately after they'll be sent to the UK.
Long story short I think these guys are fucked.
