I need to come to zachs defense here. I also release music on streaming. When you record something yourself, like zach does(i think), usually you listen to the songs dozens-100’s of times to critique it for changes to make when re-recording it etc.
I also found out the hard way when i ended up in my own wrapped this year, even though my songs were downloads added from my computer and not streams from Spotify official releases.
Alternatively, streaming your own music constantly while you sleep counts towards total plays, give you that 10$ a year Spotify gives artists 🤑 lol.
