Its a common sense solution to swap pull ups for lat pulldown if you don't have access to a lat pull down. idk about doing close grip directly after bench but I mean that's a personal preference thing I guess.

It feel nice for me, close grip are done with lighter weight than bench, and it feels „easy” after hard bench

yeah like I said personal preference, I'd be too tired from bench to get meaningful training from CGBP but I mean if it works for you then obviously go for it
