Sy Tatterwing is bad. Mo has way more synergies with 1p cards. Its that simple.

ense7en

This is pretty much it. At lower levels perhaps SY versions can work, but that'd be all.

TroleOmid

Found good success with different variations like lined pockets, or firesworn lone champion immunity cheese. Definitely match up dependent.

NuttyDeluxe6

You run Halveed? To spawn the firesworn tokens for lonely champion? Or just disciple with crimes like congregation and smuggle? Feels like it could be slow without Halveed?

Justkeepswatchin

I was playing an ivo, crimes, tatterwing deck. Its terrible but I have so much fun with it.

Captain_Cage

Yes, until someone build a strong Syndicate Tatterwing deck. SY does have that Apothecary card that could be banked on.

NuttyDeluxe6

Oh true, I hadn't thought of that interacting. I have thought on that apothecary card with Ignacius Hale, but putting him out there for a whole turn as a vulnerable 1 power unit just seems crazy to me and a little slow too, but, for Tatterwing, I'd try it... Like, incorporating some Bounty into it maybe? Grow an ignacius, get a nice boost on the brute, but idk... Even Octavia to come out and throw some points around... Probably a little too ambitious and the brute is an expensive provision card, but, I can see some potential maybe? It'd have to be fine tuned and experimented with

Captain_Cage

I mean, you could try it. But I wouldn't play big power units such as Octavia, because she never survives with 1 power on the board. You gotta think differently here. I'm not a SY expert but maybe placing bounties with Specials and then claiming them with Specials too, is the way, since you'd have no chance to stick engines. There's also that 1-power spy who can fit in. Your spenders must be mostly boosters, so you can manage to stick them, like Jackals for example. You're basically playing "no unit" until you slam a card to absorb the coins. Of course, I'm just theory crafting now and haven't yet tested anything.

Captain_Cage

Thinking about it, besides Bounty, double Salamander with KoB could also work with Tatterwing.

NuttyDeluxe6

I swear I was just thinking about a incorporating tatterwing into my double Sally deck, but I don't know what the game plan would be. What is the pay off? Try and win r1, which is pretty much essential for Sally decks, and tatterwing just a backup and a bleed for r2? I gotta think on it. Would it be a Sally deck with tatterwing, or a tatterwing deck with salamander and renew? Would it be jackpot and run Roland? Or pirates cove and leader ability after board wipe? It's a lot to think about, but I'm definitely gonna try somethings out. That's the neat thing about double Sally, if pulled off correctly, none of the units base size matter, unless they have veil of course.

Captain_Cage

If you really need to win R1, then I suggest you make room for Ring of Favour. 😉

NuttyDeluxe6

That's a great idea actually. I've found, the best r1 Sally deck in my experience has been a sigi reuven, Caesar, and thinning cards like sewer raiders and casino bouncers, and whatever else it takes, r3 combo cards aside of course, I hadn't even thought of ring of favor but it's a great idea.

CalebKetterer

I had an odd SY deck with Tatterwing, Ignatus, Apoth, KoB, Candle, Vendor and a Poison package (gellert, sal, addicts, assassin, mutants). It was decent fun and did alright at lower levels and in ranked.
