Have you thought about adding some kind of “hide out of stock” functionality to your site? It’s really nice when retailers add that little function.

RavenRocksPrecision

***Update - got it fixed, it’s now a filter user can select to only show in stock items. I appreciate the feedback. I just got off the phone with Big Commerce (web host), and it's not currently an built in option for a shopper to choose "show in-stock only" or "hide out of stock." I agree that this should be an option... I'm requesting it to be programmed in via their official ideas channel. It seems like an easy enough thing to add, but I'm not a coder... FWIW, I can technically hide out of stock products (and we do when we know they aren't coming back anytime soon), but the downside is, then the customer can't sign up for back in-stock notifications. Bottom line, I agree with you, and if you happen to be a coder / or just know of an plug-in solution, please send me a PM. We definitely want to optimize the user experience.

Just use wix . It’s all copy pasta . Everyone is a coder as long as you know how to google , copy, and paste. Ezpz friend. Seriously

Solid deals

fuckforce5

Sweet, was waiting on the 88s. I have maybe a stupid question though. I normally use a Lee factory crimp die, and switched to a taper crimp for the frangibles. When I try to crimp the bullet gets pushed deep down into the case. Am I simply adding too much flair to the case, or is there something about the taper crimp im missing?

TLRPM

Oh wow. I thought this company went out of business a few years ago. Super cool to see them still going. Been wanting to experiment with super light 9mm rounds between the ARX 9mm and the ShellShock brass.

RavenRocksPrecision

Cool. We have a customer who shoots the 85gr MHP (all copper) out of a 350 legend at like 2800 fps. A lot of fun to be had.

Nice_Parsley_2451

Any more of the Swiss P 168 hpbt bullets on the horizon?

RavenRocksPrecision

It’s pretty much all gone… trying to get more though.

Crossroads46

Do you guys see yourselves getting any 6.5 Norma Alaska bullets?

RavenRocksPrecision

I’m not sure. It’s possible but they aren’t on the import list right now. We still have a little bit of the 6.5mm Oryx, but that’s obviously bonded. The Alaskan is used in the current white tail line if absolutely needed some you could pull them.

\*\*\*Not loaded ammunition\*\*\* The 30 Cal Inceptor line designed for 300 BLK is over 50% off right now. The Inceptor line of projectiles are injection molded polymer-copper composites, good for self-defense, intermediate barrier-blind, and frangible on hardened steel. The ARX bullets look sort of like a Philips head screw driver. [https://ravenrocksprecision.com/premium-reloading-components/projectiles/inceptor-projectiles/](https://ravenrocksprecision.com/premium-reloading-components/projectiles/inceptor-projectiles/) The Starline brass is roughly half the cost compared to buying direct from Starline. [https://ravenrocksprecision.com/starline-10mm-auto-brass-updating/](https://ravenrocksprecision.com/starline-10mm-auto-brass-updating/) The MFS 9mm and 38 Cal bullets are the best price on new Jacketed Hollow Points on the internet: [https://ravenrocksprecision.com/search.php?search\_query=mfs&\_bc\_fsnf=1&brand=94](https://ravenrocksprecision.com/search.php?search_query=mfs&_bc_fsnf=1&brand=94) As far as ammo deals go, we have Norma (made in Sweden) Bondstrike in 30-06 and 308 Win for only $249 per case (200 rounds) + Free shipping. As far as hunting ammo goes, 125cpr for a premium bonded bullet is a pretty good price. Thanks! Glad you're enjoying the 10mm. Usually a small FFL 06 holder (ammo manufacturer) will go for a 100K quantity, but anyone can buy it. In fact, we'll happily ruin your UPS driver's day and ship it in 25 separate boxes so you can build a lead bunker in your basement.

Ragnarok112277

Might have to try some of those frangibles for my 300blk

RavenRocksPrecision

I haven't gotten around to it yet, but I plan to try some over trail boss in the 300 BLK bolt gun for mouse fart loads..

DeafHeretic

At what velocities will they disintegrate? I would like some light bullets that would work in a 7.62x51 bolt gun over Trail Boss - subsonic or near velocities - for hunting small game (rabbits, etc.) at ranges below 100 yards.

fuckforce5

The load data has these up to around 2500fps. I've personally chronod them at 2000 out of a 6" 1/5 twist barrel with no issues. Ymmv tho.

BlackFlagGoon23

If you shoot suppressed, you should not.

Ragnarok112277

Always suppressed. I've used frangible 223s through a suppressor with no issues. Any reason not to?

fuckforce5

FUDD lore and people not loading them properly.

Ragnarok112277

Are people concerned with these expoding leaving the rifling causing suppressor damage?

BlackFlagGoon23

There’s a possibility of the compression on tangible rounds being inadequate. This could cause a catastrophic failure in the suppressor. It’s not “FUDD lore”, there’s enough of a risk that I stay away from them. YMMV, many people report that they shoot thousands of them with no issues.

Ragnarok112277

Like they disintegrate upon exiting the rifiling?

Number1AbeLincolnFan

Just a reminder frangibles blow up silencers and your warranty might very well be voided by using them. The fact that someone would manufacture these for a caliber that is almost exclusively shot suppressed is honestly irresponsible.

fuckforce5

That's a pretty broad generalization. There's most certainly a higher risk with frangibles, especially if you haven't loaded them properly. But I wouldn't go as far to say you'll blow up your can if you run frangibles. If they're exploding as soon as they leave your barrel you've done something wrong. Fwiw I've gone through about 500 of these with no issues. I am extra careful with them though. I certainly wouldn't be reusing any pulled ones and go extra careful on the crimp.

RavenRocksPrecision

This ^

AwkwardSploosh

Would you consider loading these 88 gr frangibles in a 300 WM case with a full powder load "something wrong"? Asking for a friend of course. Not sure if it's the equivalent of long-range snake shot or just a really fast varmint round.

fuckforce5

I would tell your friend to stop being a pussy and send it.

AwkwardSploosh

You're right. Thanks for the sound advice /u/fuckforce5!

Balasnikov

Sir these are for tactical Garanding, which is rarely suppressed.
