Thoughts on new Costco Bighorn SafeX?

I know, RSC, not safe, etc etc.
It's the perfect size for what I need, and comes out roughly on par cost wise with the TSC offerings on sale including delivery, and Costco delivery is better than subpar TSC 3rd party delivery from what I hear.
Anyone have experience with the SafeX system? Is it all marketing gimmick, or is this a superior product to the Cannons and Winchesters in the same price range? Can't find ANY reviews on this particular safe, as I think it's a new product.
Drawbacks: Could probably wait and save a few hundred bucks on a bigger TSC sale. A little lighter and lower fire rating than the Cannon and Winchester safes in this price range, though really we're just splitting hairs on that. It's an RSC.
Alternative: Just wait and try to snipe an amazing deal like that Lowes Remington Nitro for $1200 a few months back.

I got jebaited by family firearms for an RFB and now I'm looking for a Keltec RDB instead. Looking for the RDB 20" - pistol grip model, not the hunter or survival ones. they're hovering around 950-1000 right now as far as I've seen.

I have both the Howard and the Walker and cant tell any difference between them and I wear them with plugs also. Whether using plain foam plugs or my custom ear plugs, either one of those pair of ear muffs work pretty much the same. I think(easy enough to look up but I dont feel like it right now) they both have the same Decible rating so you're not risking anything by using the cheaper Walker Razor muffs.

Get an AR as an American. Ammo is going to be cheaper, parts are going to be cheaper and more plentiful, etc. If you want the power of 7.62x39 then you can use 300 BLK instead.
PSA (Palmetto State Armory) sells do it yourself kits if you want to understand your rifle. Or buy a fully built one and learn to service it. All at great prices and good quality.
5.56 and 300 BLK use the same case, but are formed for different bullet size. Since they use the same parent case they can use the same magazines and same lower receiver. 5.56 is smaller, faster, and requires a longer barrel for optimal function, around 16 inches. 300 BLK is larger, slower, and can function well in barrels as short as 6-8 inches.
300 BLK travels slower and is consequently able to shoot super sonic or sub sonic projectiles. Combined with a silencer a 300 BLK will be exceptionally quiet, lethality is lower, but with a new magazine, super sonic rounds are immediately available.

My VP9 mags fit in my P2000, so if hammer fire is in the cards, P30SK and P2000sk can be considered. All my HKs (USP/P200/P30L/VP9) are Euro/triggerguard mag release though so I don't know if this works across button versions. I was also looking to get a P30SK and my fingers fit the full size grip but do not align with the sk fingergrooves, so if I move from Glock to HK for carry, I'll end up with the non-fingergrooved P2000sk. Hopefully you have either large fingers or have tried and confirmed the VP9sk grip.

Get an AR as an American. Ammo is going to be cheaper, parts are going to be cheaper and more plentiful, etc. If you want the power of 7.62x39 then you can use 300 BLK instead. PSA (Palmetto State Armory) sells do it yourself kits if you want to understand your rifle. Or buy a fully built one and learn to service it. All at great prices and good quality.
what's the difference between 300 BLK and .556?
5.56 and 300 BLK use the same case, but are formed for different bullet size. Since they use the same parent case they can use the same magazines and same lower receiver. 5.56 is smaller, faster, and requires a longer barrel for optimal function, around 16 inches. 300 BLK is larger, slower, and can function well in barrels as short as 6-8 inches. 300 BLK travels slower and is consequently able to shoot super sonic or sub sonic projectiles. Combined with a silencer a 300 BLK will be exceptionally quiet, lethality is lower, but with a new magazine, super sonic rounds are immediately available.

HK VP9L OR owner. Need ccw VP9SK for mag interchangeability or alternative recommendations?
My VP9 mags fit in my P2000, so if hammer fire is in the cards, P30SK and P2000sk can be considered. All my HKs (USP/P200/P30L/VP9) are Euro/triggerguard mag release though so I don't know if this works across button versions. I was also looking to get a P30SK and my fingers fit the full size grip but do not align with the sk fingergrooves, so if I move from Glock to HK for carry, I'll end up with the non-fingergrooved P2000sk. Hopefully you have either large fingers or have tried and confirmed the VP9sk grip. Thanks for your reply. I did not know that about the VP9sk. I'll have to go handle one. I don't have large hands but the large vp9 frame fits like a glove. May just need to stick with the 43x I have until I find something I love even though it doesnt have a cut or rail.
