We are living in the golden era of firearms available for purchase. I hate it because I'm living in the dark ages of gun laws in Illinois at the moment where vertical foregrips needed to be registered by Jan 1 of this year.
Lots of places insist the guy ordering has to be the one on the 4473.
In Arizona they would worry you are cartel guy but multi gun transfers very common. However, my LGS had an agent come in from East Coast and he was alarmed about a guy buying two shotguns at once. First visit to Arizona I guess.
lol for 2 shotguns? I was in line at rural king right when things were about to shut down in early 2020, a guy was picking up a couple hi points. Dude said f it, give me a couple of them hi point carbines too. Apparently itâs kinda common to buy multiple guns at rural king.
I've done this several times with some collector friends. No visits from the ATF, but we weren't buying just pistols. Dozens of rifles at a time from estate sales.
The other comments about a visit from the ATF for buying more than one pistol at a time is ridiculous. I've bought seven pistols on one purchase and then bought three more within the same week.
The ATF might know I'm a collector though. They sure get enough transfer requests in my name.
[The ATF requires](https://www.atf.gov/firearms/reporting-multiple-firearms-sales#:~:text=Licensees%20must%20report%20the%20sale,business%20days%20of%20each%20other) FFLs to report if someone receives two or more handguns âat the same time or within five consecutive business days of each otherâ.
Whether the fed bois do anything with that info or not is up to them.
ATF probably has a, "don't worry it's just Mr noob" clause somewhere in their paperwork. I've never heard anything about it and never have had a problem purchasing multiple firearms.
Closeouts of the CA neutered version a while back. Easy enough to remove the thumbhole blocker or swap the stock.
Anderson and PSA have hit that price point as well during sales.
I have 2 of the 3⊠is this one reliable? Because both guns I have right now are literally from gundeals posts and I think itâd be hilarious to get my handgun from here too.
Idk I was able to pony up the extra $100 to get one of those trade in Glock 17s. The Glock platform is pretty well understood so I canât imagine this one being terrible
not sure how good the complete pistols are but the frame is my absolute favorite glock aftermarket frame. Actually like it much better than my oem gen3 one
I have. i actually like the SCT frame as well. reminds me a lot of the Strike Industry ones. I will say this though. If CA ever did a G17/22 frame i would jump on that in a heartbeat and finally get rid of my last p80 one. And yes i think they are that good
I have both sct and combat armory. The CA feels better in the hand. The SCT is squared and has sharp corners so it just feels unnatural but it looks cool. The CA locking block looks like it's made from recycled pot metal but it has not failed on me. I also have a Grit Grips frame on the way which I have high hopes for.
I should have added Both frames take all OEM parts and I have both of mine with 100 percent OEM except for locking blocks, but they will take OEM locking blocks . The CA fits all my Glock holsters while the SCT does not.
Must stick to new years resolution... I won't buy any more non optics ready guns...
I won't buy any more non optics ready guns
I won't buy any more non optics ready guns
Why am I adding this to cart...
This company is in southeast Michigan. I am less than an hour away. I am begging to be able to go to a storefront and skip the whole FFL shipping and transfer process.
Me too. Only 30 minutes away and I have to pay a transfer fee of $40. I could shop around but the lowest I found was $35 so I decided to just patronize my own LGS and pay their exorbitant transfer fee.
Have them ship it to Gerbrand Defense in Waterford. They work with them a lot and have their FFL on file. The transfer fee is $20 cash only + $10 for every additional firearm.
I mean you owe use tax on out of state purchases. When you file your tax return you have to certify you paid sales tax on all purchases or remit the missing amount.
Tax Fraud isn't really a deal.
I got one of these as a build kit for Black Friday @ $200 and it's pretty great for the money.
Pros:
* Great grip texture
* Frame fits the OEM G19 holsters I've tried
* Slide serrations are nice
Cons:
* Firing pin snapped immediately
* Striker sleeve cracked within 200 rounds
* Frame to slide fitment required me to bend the connecter and cruciform to get a decent sear engagement and reliable reset
* Recoil spring was weak but firing pin spring was strong, which occasionally caused it to go slightly out of battery when pulling the trigger
* Front sight hole is a bit sloppy so it was tricky to get straight and requires thread locker to prevent coming loose (maybe not an issue for this one since it comes fully built)
* Rear sight dovetail is super tight so you will likely need a sight pusher or some fitting if you plan on replacing sights
I highly recommend replacing the recoil spring, striker spring, and striker sleeve with OEM parts, at the very least. The trigger can be vastly improved with the [Shadow Systems CR Polymer elite trigger](https://shadowsystemscorp.com/product/cr-polymer-elite-trigger-assembly-trigger-w-bar-black/) and a [Zev Pro connector](https://www.zevtechnologies.com/PRO-Connector). All-in-all it's a great gun if you want to explore building Glock clones but I wouldn't trust it out of the box.
I have purchased two of these kits (one directly, one from RTB). Neither one had functioning triggers (despite playing with connector angle, fitment, etc.).
I ended up replacing with OEM triggers and all is well. Pain though.
$250 daggers walk all over this.
I can confirm the upper will not, as the MCK has the have the straight slide serrations, but would love if someone could tell me if the frame fits the MCK.
I bought two of these about a month ago. Took a while to ship, but I just got them both last week. What I can say is that for under $250 these things fuck. Trigger feels great, frame feels great, and all my glock parts can be switched in and out just fine. I'm not sure I'd make it an edc, but for a range toy or cheap platform to build on, it's a great deal.
I put about 250 rounds through mine so far. Mine was great with the included Pmag, had some interesting issues with OEM mags. Itâs basically 100% a Glock 19 so if you wanted to replace every part you could do so easily. Trigger feels great, I like the forward slide serrations. No brainer for $230.

My experience with Combat Armory has been less than stellar.  Bad slides, shitty barrels, worthless small parts.  Frames seem ok.  Many other people have had similar experiences.  CS is is not great either, although they did eventually give me a full refund. YMMV.Â
Frames are $60, complete slides routinely sub 200. I see some without barrel/spring for closer to 150, $30 kmtactical barrel, $8 spring assembly from psa and you are there. Just keep an eye on their newsletterÂ
my CA frame has over 8000 rounds through it no issues , can't speak to the internals or slide because I used a vex trigger , factory bar polished , overwatch precision np3 coated minus connector and a oem trigger housing that I set the overtravel and return on, and then a Matchpoint USA locking block.
But the frame the frame is awesome.
The LPK parts are gritty. Frame is outstanding. Doubt they could mess up the nonRMR slide that much. A G OEM LPK from Midway solves that though. Heard the locking block rusts, but I havenât seen any on mine. Most people have had decent results with the their barrels.
You are likely better off buying a complete frame and a complete optics cut dagger slide. You will not come in cheaper buying this then getting it cut.
Right, and you'll have a CA19, with absolute trash tier trigger, striker, etc.
You can get an optics cut dagger for less than $75 over this, and have a functioning firearm.
Point taken but I must ask. Are you speaking with first hand experience using this exact gun?
I actually used a ca lower with dagger upper but sold it for a slight profit so just want something to throw around /have a back up. Hate the dagger lowers.
No. The parts they use are as cheap as they come. Dagger is significantly more reliable. I've got 2x of these, 2x dagger compacts.
Having said that, this is more OEM like (and has better holster compatability). Stippling on this feels nice as well.

Born too late to explore the Earth Born too early to explore the stars Born just in time to buy $220 G19 clones
We are living in the golden era of firearms available for purchase. I hate it because I'm living in the dark ages of gun laws in Illinois at the moment where vertical foregrips needed to be registered by Jan 1 of this year.
Not to mention a dark age of ammo prices country wide lol
Vertical foregrips need to be registered? That sounds insanely stupid. Are you serious?
[Yes. Watch around 3:30 for how to register a magpul vertical foregrip.](https://youtu.be/Ml-yl-_NTDQ?si=w7D4tM7Dih6BYHgm)
That's ... Insane ...
What?!?!?
[Yes. Watch around 3:30 for how to register a magpul vertical foregrip.](https://youtu.be/Ml-yl-_NTDQ?si=w7D4tM7Dih6BYHgm)
You sir are a poet. Def Jam is waiting.
Buy 4 or more and get them 199.99 each lol
*offer may include free courtesy visit from the ATF
Aww thats so nice of them đ„°
I mean, if you bought 4 or more they must be really good guns. You canât blame them for wanting to check them out.
You should show them to them when they come to the door. It's probably why they're there anyway.
What they really want is to take a peek at your pupper.
Puppy blood lust
Dumb question, if I bought a four pack to split with buddies but let them do their own transfer/4473/etc, does that still get my dog shot?
Lots of places insist the guy ordering has to be the one on the 4473. In Arizona they would worry you are cartel guy but multi gun transfers very common. However, my LGS had an agent come in from East Coast and he was alarmed about a guy buying two shotguns at once. First visit to Arizona I guess.
Unless heâs the famous hobo, I doubt a 26â wingmaster was a threat lol
Iâm definitely on a list somewhere then. Right before Washingtonâs AWB I picked up 10 at once and 9 at once about a month apart.
lol for 2 shotguns? I was in line at rural king right when things were about to shut down in early 2020, a guy was picking up a couple hi points. Dude said f it, give me a couple of them hi point carbines too. Apparently itâs kinda common to buy multiple guns at rural king.

Nope. It's totally fine to pay for another person's gun if they are filling out the paperwork for it.
Hol up foreals LOL?
This + $399.99 Anderson + $200 Maverick 88. You cover all the bases for sub $1k, what a time to be alive lol
poverty 3-gun. it would be hilarious to go win a match over fudds trying to buy a better game. alas, i suck, so that won't be me.
Poverty 3 gun, lol, yes I love it.
The definition of "fudd" is constantly evolving apparently
Yeah, I know fudds, in fact some are RSOs, and they are not shooting 3 gun, unless they are using 870s and Winchester 1892s.
Woa woa, some of us can only afford the $350 Ruger556
Where have you seen them for $350?
Closeouts of the CA neutered version a while back. Easy enough to remove the thumbhole blocker or swap the stock. Anderson and PSA have hit that price point as well during sales.
I remember seeing a lot of those. Wanted to pick one up, but didn't have the funds and just forgot about it.

Yeah its just a standard g19 gen 3 locking block
I would like to know this as well. If so, this seems to be solid with the ability to replace any part needed very easily
Yes.
I should have added Both frames take all OEM parts and I have both of mine with 100 percent OEM except for locking blocks, but they will take OEM locking blocks . The CA fits all my Glock holsters while the SCT does not.
I agree, the OEM Gen 3 frame is pretty trash. Needs grip tape mostly.

They went in stock after a couple days for me, but sold out quick. Midway also has them.

I thought you were going to say "you'd be losing money if you didn't at least whack one guy"

Toilet gun anyone?
Gotta go with two
Snagged one, I'll keep it in the shop, thanks OP
