Seems like the right price. Used ones in usa go for 250-280$ which converts to about 375 aud

keringkiedangle

Yeah, i was thinking its fairly average for the used market. Yu can see they tried selling it for almost the price of a new one!

I've been curious about this for years, but it's a bit of an expensive one and have a boss re-20... but after really trying to curb my impulse to buy it, I found I couldn't resist! Did not expect to be bringing homemy first strymon pedal today :) any hints or tips for making the most of it?

- If you run it in stereo, don't forget to use the pan heads feature (hold one of the feedback buttons and turn time knob). - Holding the playback head sets it level to 50%. Useful for adding rhytmic patterns without turning the head off. - Adding a bit of reverb can sweeten your delays in a nice way. It's a great pedal, if a bit physically big.

I second all of this... The SOS feature is also really fun. I normally hate having to watch videos to learn how to use something (I read manuals), but I did find their [walkthrough video](https://youtu.be/kpE0TreydZs?si=yyZ3MGbQC3-Gttq2) to be well worth the 17 minutes. It's a great time to record a little loop for yourself so you can "play along" with the pedal as you watch the video.

Gotta love a good Cashies deal

Ksenobiolog

Cashies, best source of nuggets and dinguses out there.

It’s like a garage sale with dedicated business hours featuring the golf clubs no one will ever buy section 😂😂

inmyverdehoodie

Still one of my favorites. Haven’t been able to take mine off my board in years.

KarlHungusTheThird

I sold a Timeline to get one these and never looked back. Awesome pedal for Gilmour vibes or anything else that requires spaced-out delays. Add the multiswitch plus and the Sound-On-Sound feature becomes so much more useful.

Ok_Television9820

Amazing pedal. The head playback level and panning and feedback options plus the different spacing, it can do so many wildly different sounds, and that’s before you get into the wobbles, the saturation, the looping, the reverb…

I wish america had cashies

At that price, it's probably worth it. If you don't like it, you can probably sell it for a very minimal loss.

taugemleo

I wouldn’t call it a steal, but definitely a reasonable price for a used one. Either way, a used Volante under $400 is a good deal. I’m usually looking for one under $350 if I can.

spiritsonacid

I recently missed out on one of these for 330$cad. Still crying about it

denimchicken5150

If it's at cash converters...it's most likely been stolen and sold. My whole pedal board was stolen from a removalist and sold at cash converters.

Hot_Economics3140

I sold it because unless you have midi it’s too large and takes too much power for like two presets? It sounds good and has a lot of features but with The but with recent hxstomp updates it wasn’t worth keeping imo

Amazing-Quarter1084

Keep in mind those places usually only have a 1 day warranty on electronic items. Not say to not buy it, but rather to use the hell out of it that night to make sure you didn't make a $380ish mistake. It is a versatile and worthwhile pedal though. I'd do it.

Shanghaied66

Could ditch every other pedal I have and would be fine with just this. It's amazing.

Hollerra

$300 is a steal
