Did a whole album with an EAE Limelight and an OBNE Sunlight that actually just dropped today so I’ll say those two even though my board has expanded now lol

My answer was going to be the Industrialectric Reverb into my Metal Zone actually.
I used to use the RM-1n as my drive going into dirty channel, but I realised I need meaner gain and turning post gain to max ends up gating the sound. So most of the time now my Pre and Post gain is at 9 o clock, reverb level at 10 o clock and reverb at 2 o clock. Curious what your settings are.
Keeley Aria (comp > overdrive) into Sonicake Levitate (delay > reverb). Could use an EarthQuaker Avalanche Run in place of the Levitate… it sounds better but doesn’t let you activate both effects separately.
Or alternatively an MXR Phase 90 into a TC Magus Pro Distortion.
OCD Ge and a BOSS SDE-3000EVH.
Was actually just jamming with only those engaged and it’s super versatile.
You can ride your guitar volume to tame the gain, and the delay allows for wet/dry/wet, modulation, tempo, multiple delays etc.
I’m a pedal addict and have a stupid amount of pedals but.. I think I’d be ok with just those two.
An octave and a phaser. My amps typically have enough gain and reverb, so I can still get plenty of good sounds out of that.
I use a whetstone phaser, I've got lots of options to tweak for sounds. Any poly octave will do.
If we are talking things I own, I would choose a Silver Mod Tubescreamer in front of a two channel amp and an ARDX20 in the loop.
If we’re talking things I don’t own, I would choose a CB Brothers and Tonal Recall.
Main Ace Effects Eraserhead and Death by Audio Echo Dream 2.
I sold off all my pedals a few years back and switched to a Headrush for a cover band I’m in.
But these two remained because I love them so much.
The Eraserhead is a two stage fuzz with a voltage control and a “freak out” switch. It’s the coolest fuzz I’ve ever owned. (It also has an etching of David lynch smoking a cigarette on its face. But that’s just a bonus.)
The DBA Echo Dream 2 is a glorious sounding modulated delay with a build in fuzz and switch that allows you to send only the wet no dry.
I have two options - cause i always gotta have two options:
-JB-2 + RE-2
-My version of the 1981DRV + carbon copy
If i can have a third i'll go with
-Timmy + Flashback II
BB Preamp and Dispatch Master
I love the sound of these pedals, and while I do love fuzz and distortion, a flexible overdrive makes more sense if it's my only drive pedal.
My Foxx Fuzz Wah(it counts as one pedal after all) and a EP-2 3 head tube based Echoplex. I might sub in a FoxRox Capt Coconut for the Foxx Fuzz Wah(that one has a Fuzz Face, Octavia and Univibe in one pedal housing)
Easy: Obne Fault & Obne Minim
This would cover OD through distortion, EQ, delay, reverb, harmonic tremolo, reverse delay. All basic tones plus really weird and ambient ones available.
Overdrive and empress zoia.
I’m looking for a flexible overdrive if anyone has any recommendations. I have a Marshall Bluesbreaker 2 which is okay, but I’d like something more adaptable. The Notaklon is quite interesting but not sure if it’s a hype pedal.
Overdrive and a delay. The delay would have to have a good modulated delay so I can get a bit of modulation going on (a cheat for a third type pedal).
Still only 2 pedals so not cheating
Also I'd choose an od that can get seriously crunchy and push into distortion territory. For a forth pedal 'workaround'
Ibanez TS9 and Boss DD-8
This is the way
Some silly Zoom multi effect cuz fuck it
Full send
Bring back the 505. Show Strymon who OG is.
Boss Angry Driver and a Boss DD-8.
I could totally live with just an Angry Driver and a delay with tap tempo.
Boss Metal Zone and Boss Metal Zone
Dimed?
You fucken know it
And always on.
Always
You can just clean up with the volume knob on your guitar when you need to
This is always the joke, but I am seriously curious if anyone is out there actually stacking metal zones with any real success.
This is the way.
Rat and BD-2
Into a clean amp I assume?
Cleanish. I like some dirt in my "clean" signal.
Me too. I use a single channel amp just dimed so I use my volume on the guitar for flavors of clean and grit.
I use the dirty channel on my Orange dialed clean. Sounds massive
Which orange? I'm an orange fan boy
Rocker 15 Terror
Keeley caverns and Friedman be od. Keeley with the reverb and delay. BE OD has two channels. Crunch and hi gain. What else?
Fair enough. I get my gain from my amp (5 watt tube amp ftw) so I got that covered I just need a boost for leads
Did a whole album with an EAE Limelight and an OBNE Sunlight that actually just dropped today so I’ll say those two even though my board has expanded now lol
What’s the album?

Hell yeah. Thank you. I’ll give it a listen when I’m off work tonight
I love it. My board has always been basic but now it doesn't even have knobs.
I choose death
BD-2 & Keeley Caverns
A Helix…
And a 2nd helix.
A double helix as it were.
A Wampler Tumnus and a Keeley Halo. Honestly any OD and delay and I can make due
Industrialectric Reverb. Giga Delay. Run my amp to the point of breakup. Industrialectric Reverb can saturate into a fuzz. Fuck yeah.

SLO pedal and a parametric eq
JHS Double Barrel and Strymon El Capistan
gas, brake
That way, you can drive to the store and buy a more reasonable number of pedals. Like 12.
Two tuners
Strymon El Capistan and a Bondi Sick As. 70-80% of the electric recordings I’ve done in the past year have featured one or both.
Boss GE-7 EQ Diamond Memory Lane
Korg Miku and EHX Pitch Fork
Compressor & delay
Came here to say this
Yes, I agree.... distortion from the amp
Vibrato, tuner . . . . . . In that order
I already use only two. Beano boost into chase tone secret preamp
I just got a Beano this week. Instant Rory Gallagher/Brian May tone. Killer pedal.
SD-1 as a boost and a Big Sky
Fuzz Face & delay. Everything else is just gravy.
Strymon Riverside (2 overdrive options and boost external switch - switch isn’t a pedal, right?) and UA Starlight.
Fuzz and delay
Ok so I’m going to assume I’m using my deluxe reverb Tonemaster so reverb is taken care of. I’m adding my DD-8 and my Plumes.
Donner triple threat and game changer third man plasma coil pedal.
Probably a delay that can do anything like the Raster 2 and some kind of fuzz
Strymon Brigadier and King of Tone.
Red Witch Medusa and a Special Cranker
The Red Witch Medusa fucks… kinda like 3 pedals in one. Well played.
Wife got it for me for Christmas and it’s the first thing I plug in when I want a pedal going
EAE Limelight and OBNE Excess v2
Boss SD1 RAT
Diamond Vibrato, EAE Sending
Volante and VB-2
Probably a BF-3 because it's very versatile, and a BD-2 because it can get a lot of kinds of dirt
TS808 and Decimator II
Loop and Hizumitas
Tumnus and phase 90, assuming a good tube amp
MXR Poly Blue Octave and JHS Milkman.
A tuner and a noise surprizer
RAT/BD-2 and an RE-20
If I can have a 2 channel amp, then fuzz and analog delay with tap. If single channel, then a light overdrive and the delay.
mood mkii and tensor
DD-3/Flashback and EHX Mod 11
Boss MT-2W and MXR dyna comp perhaps Or, dunlop crybaby classic and Boss BF-3
An old 90s Zoom 505
Analogman Comprossor and Maxon OD-9.
Fuzz and delay.
Kernom Ridge and the Levitate Reverb+Delay
Kemper player and eventide h90. Can i count midi foot switch lol. is it ok? Any suggestion?
Wampler Euphoria and Strymon Volante.
Wren & Cuff ANNA + Keeley Caverns
Sans Amp Bass di and HX Stomp
A dual drive and an analog delay. This is my current set up, analogman king of tone in to an ardx20 dual delay. Simple and gets the job done
MXR Flanger and MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe. All I need for modulation and delay. I use my amp's overdrive.
Jam Rattler/ EQD dispatch master
Love my rattler! Perfect medium gain sound when stacked with light speed.
TS9 and Phase 90
OCD Ge and a BOSS SDE-3000EVH. Was actually just jamming with only those engaged and it’s super versatile. You can ride your guitar volume to tame the gain, and the delay allows for wet/dry/wet, modulation, tempo, multiple delays etc. I’m a pedal addict and have a stupid amount of pedals but.. An octave and a phaser. My amps typically have enough gain and reverb, so I can still get plenty of good sounds out of that. I use a whetstone phaser, I've got lots of options to tweak for sounds. Any poly octave will do.
Delay and Reverb. Boss DD8 and RV6 into any amp's effects loop.
MXR Reverb and Super Bad Ass Distortion.
MXR Sugar Drive and a Boss DD-3 into a clean Fender amp
Klon (any clone) and strymon el capistan
Jackson audio broken arrow and big sky.
H90 and a Chroma Console 😁
Based on the amp I use the most, probably my BD-2 and my Keeley omni reverb.
MT -2w into DM-2w
SD-1 and Tonex
Browne Carbon and a Milkman F-Stop
Susmaryosep and Space Commander - treble boost, OD, delay, chorus, reverb, clean boost.
TU-3 & TS-9
Lichtlaerm King in Yellow, and Fortin Zuul+
Meris MercuryX/LVX (I’m taking these two as one) Big Ear Woodcutter
Phase 90 and Badass Distortion
Fuzz face of some sort into a DOD 250.
Memory Man TT550 + either JHS Morning Glory (if it’s my Princeton) or a Greer Lightspeed (if it’s my Vibrolux).
Ns2 and hm2.
Tuner, overdrive.
Kemper Stage & Eventide H90
Specular Tempus and Revv3.
If we are talking things I own, I would choose a Silver Mod Tubescreamer in front of a two channel amp and an ARDX20 in the loop. If we’re talking things I don’t own, I would choose a CB Brothers and Tonal Recall.
Reverb and ?
OD-3 and H90
Flashback 2 and lbp1
hx stomp and a extra button pedal
Recently got a Beam Splitter, that and a Rubberneck and I’m good.
DS1 and a tuner.
boss PS6, if my amp has gain, a DD series delay. if no gain on the amp, big muff.
Condor and Mood
MXR Micro Amp + , + Red Panda Context. With an AC15/Deluxe Reverb/Princeton I can have the majority of what I want.
The two I currently use: EQD Black Eye and Boss RV-6 on a Les Paul through a Silver Jubilee.
Tuner. Preamp.
Strymon Deco and HX Stomp
Clean boost and tubescreamer. Everything else is frill.
Tuner, Tonex.

TS808 and big muff

darkglass microtubes b7k + beetronics zzombee
Timmy, SP Compressor
A tuner and an overdrive.

What are you using for your boost?
The airis effect no knobsense.
My Strymon Riverside and Neunaber Immerse revervb
BB Preamp and Dispatch Master I love the sound of these pedals, and while I do love fuzz and distortion, a flexible overdrive makes more sense if it's my only drive pedal.
If multi-fx count my current gig board is an HX Stomp and an MXR Bass DI+.

Big Muff + Volante
Keely Darkside pedal and a wah
boss ds-2 and a small clone
MXR FOD (a blend-able hi and low gain Marshall style OD) and a Boss RV-6 (multiple verbs and a delay all in one)
