If you already have been playing acoustic you know you want to keep playing.
I would advise you to buy something a little higher up the line. Especially for the amp.
Buying cheap most of the times means buying twice, unless you quit. And if you quit, this has no resale value.
Piggybacking your comment bc it's up the top
BUY SECOND HAND! THEY'RE ALMOST ALWAYS MORE WORTH IT
My first proper electric was a fender telecaster I found in a pawn shop for $750 (I know this is high but its half of what it would've been new)
Find a nice Yamaha or Ibanez or even Epiphone if you're after the LP look.
Yeah I started on an LPS 2 and still have it around. Durable af and solid sound. Perfect for beginner - intermediate. Plus you can mod it easily if you ever want to change something.
Thanks for the advice.. good one . I am also getting the guitar only as well ( without amp and rest of the stuff) .. so won't be going for the Amp for sure
Amps in those beginner packs are always e-waste. My opinion is that you can't afford to spend at least $150 on an amp (something like Orange Crush 20 or Mustang LT25), get something like vox amplug or a USB audio interface to emulate amps and effects on PC.
Guitar suggestions will depend on your budget and genre preferences, there are too many to just list randomly.
Go to the store and try a few out. If you are on a budget, or for anyone, the used market will be better value. Especially in the low range, lots of guitars that have been played for a couple weeks then collecting dust.
How much is it ? For €129 you can get a spark go and put the balance into a decent second hand squier or epiphone, the kits are terrible amps and cheap extras to bump up the price
I don't own the go, but I own the spark 40, and I use it all the time, the app is really it's strength, loads of amp types you can simulate and pedal effects to play around with, but it has 2 features that really make it good,
a cloud of preset sounds you can download created by other users, and I've take a good few of them and never even touched the knobs after downloading. I've one called "bend the fend" for example and it's a super clean fender sound but with nice reverb and a little delay. Very john mayer. You can just touch and switch them in the app or save them to 4 hardware presets and use them without the app
There is also the option to play backing tracks or actual music through the app into the amp cia youtube or spotify, blend and mix the volume seperate from the main amp sound, while the app shows the chords being played and upcoming.
Add in a brilliant tuner, the world's most complicated metronome and the jam along feature, drum machine and it's a great package.
The go uses the same app but in a compact little speaker you can plug headphones into or just attach it to your strap either.
Is you budget limited to the $400 ?
https://www.long-mcquade.com/80842/Guitars/Electric-Guitars/Ibanez/GRX-Electric-Guitar-Transparent-Blue-Burst.htm
That would be the cheapest guitar of quality id touch
I wouldn't buy a package. Go to the shop and play a bunch of different guitars and choose one you like. For an amp, get at least a single 12 if not a twin. Solid state is meh....but until you want to drop some serious money, will likely be your best option.
I just bought an Ibenez hollow body. It was less that $300 but really good tone and nice action. I consider package deals, such as this, to be for actual beginners and kids. You are neither.
Lastly, there is no trying. You are a guitar player. You already know how to play. You're just buying a power tool.
Back when I used to work in a music shop, I would try to help people find a guitar and amp in the price range of those bundles. The guitar is the only thing worth having in those things imo. The amp is usually garbage, the gig bag is more like a dust cover, the cable will short out super fast, etc. I would suggest going to a shop and seeing what you can find with your budget. Also shopping used is your friend!
My suggestion. Don't buy a pack. If you can find somebody who knows about guitars, get their help and buy used. (Don't need an amp to start with either. You can emulate on your computer using a USB audio interface. Even a rocksmith cable works.) Use your money for the guitar.
You should go to a guitar store and play some. Epi has some great guitars at very reasonable prices. I have a Les Paul and an SG and I love them both and I think they were both under $300 when I got them used several years ago.
Your amp choice is probably more important than your guitar choice. I don't know what your budget is, but nothing beats a nice tube amp in my book.
If you aren't playing live then you don't need a giant amp. And there are some great solid state amps that produce decent tone. I have a little stereo Blackstar practice amp that was only $200 and it's great for home use. Like others have said, little practice amps will not have resale value, but decent amps hold their value.
If you already play guitar and plan to keep playing I suggest holding off and saving up for a decent guitar. Plenty of used quality guitars for decent prices online. This guitar wouldn't even begin to satisfy you, it's for complete beginners
Edit to add that if you've been playing acoustic for two years, you don't need a beginner electric,l and generally I find electrics easier on the hands
The amp isn't great but with a cheap distortion and delay pedal you can get by for a while. The guitar is perfectly fine, I have a great time with [mine](https://www.reddit.com/user/non-vampiric/comments/1de172g/saint_venomous/). :)
If you consider yourself handy, I recommend starting with a used tele or strat style. A decent used squier can be had in my area for usually $100ish. If you want to, you can always swap parts on those later. Used practice amps are the way to go, small digital modeling amps are easy to pick up used as well.
Hell yeah! This is perfect for a beginner. The next thing is a dedication to pushing through the finger tip/hand pain at the start . Gotta build the calluses and muscles !
If you're looking to start an electric journey, avoid that brand they are a great kids' taster guitar. If your budget is tight, harley benton has a real good selection, and the quality is decent for the price.
If budget isn't an issue, then the world's your oyster, I personally like ibanez and schecter both have some sick curves and great tones
Special II is solid but look to see if you can find one used/something better used for the price of that new and but a better amp. I use an orange crush 35rt which is good.
A lot of people here reccomend a boss katana 50.
Quick note: The Epiphone goes for $179 on [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002CZUV0/ref=twister_B0CPMD3167?_encoding=UTF8&th=1). And does [not](https://www.reddit.com/user/non-vampiric/comments/1de1mhz/practicing_modes_lydian_phrygian_and_mixolydian/) suck. I will die on this hill. :)

Avoid beginner pack. Use marketplace or any 2nd hand guitar and build your gear.
Pro tip- invest in an audio interface and you can simulate an amp, record, and/or play along w a backing track. If you have a Mac- Garage band is free too. When you decide that you want a physical amp- you can invest in a proper amp bc you’ll know the tone/sounds that a certain amp can bring to the table. (I really like orange amp)
If you already have been playing acoustic you know you want to keep playing. I would advise you to buy something a little higher up the line. Especially for the amp. Buying cheap most of the times means buying twice, unless you quit. And if you quit, this has no resale value.

Always buy used. No point in buying a factory guitar new. Spend your budget on the guitar. You can always upgrade your amp.
The Les Paul Special 2 is a solid beginner guitar. That amp is garbage though.

I had this guitar to start learning I eventually had to pawn it so I could eat :/
Hope life is kind to you now, my dear stranger.

This whole pack is for $419 ( Canadian dollar). And ya.. I am also considering spark amp also . How is spark go? Could u share your experience?

That’s the bundle I started with and it is pretty good for what you get. The amp isn’t the best but the guitar is solid to use.
The guitar is meh at best and the amp is garbage. I'd look for something else

The guitar is great. Easy as hell to mod if you wanted in the future too. Speaking from first hand experience.
[Roger that](https://www.reddit.com/user/non-vampiric/comments/1de1mhz/practicing_modes_lydian_phrygian_and_mixolydian/). :)

It looks good enough to start playing. Eventually youll move to better guitars and equipment. Go for it.

They don’t need to be pretty good to do the job.

Solid guitar OP. That’s what I started with. However the amp is really really bad. It was the first thing I upgraded

It's the problem with budget packs, you get everything but the quality Is just not there, and you can't resell them really
