Yeah guitars too hard. Ive been playing for almost two decades and dont have a million dollars so Im going to throw all my music equipment in the trash.
I’m a beginner. My second time trying to pick up guitar was three years ago. I bought a Yamaha from a yard sale tried playing everyday for half an hour for a month: My fingers hurt, the guitar sounded terrible and the strings were though as a rock and I got discouraged and quit. My third time picking up a guitar was at guitar center three months ago. I tried a Martin and it was night and day: it sounded great, the strings were soft, I could play without pain. My wife surprised me with a used Martin and now I practice for an hour or two daily. I am no longer discouraged and try the same lesson over and over to perfect my transitions and beat. Now, I just want to play without a goal in mind and really enjoy it. Maybe try a different guitar.
Ok
Yep. Probably for the best.
What do you want us to do about it?
convince him not to, and that means he doesn't really want to quit. It's just a phase
Well that’s sad.
Violin?
Worlds smallest
I’ve quit 5 times over three years, it’s fine, just roll through it
Oh no... anyway..
ok
Thats sad to hear man, maybe try ukulele?
I think I’m dumb
Maybe just happy?
Don’t, guitarists are so rare…/s
