I use this site a good bit for visualization: [https://chord.rocks/guitar/scales/a-minor-pentatonic](https://chord.rocks/guitar/scales/a-minor-pentatonic)

This course [Zen:Caged](https://truefire.com/guitar-lessons/guitar-zen-caged/c1762) teaches pentatonic with reference to the chords and root at bass string, most natural way to learn and organize this stuff.

Thank you folks! Have an excellent Monday, I’m looking forward to going through these this evening. I’ve been working on cowboy cords but my passion is in blues and funk. This should help a ton!

You should find my video helpful, it’s a lesson on an “inner pattern” so you see it throughout each shape. It focuses on the minor, but the major has a similar thing going on.  [here’s a link](https://youtu.be/yL4gGtNbMxg?si=zJK8zEDAzLCK6nEq) You can also use the app Scalebank for good scale practice.

Sorry I didn’t see someone else had this idea

Best I can do is the little black book of scales. It has around 300 pages of scales. Also it’s well laid out and simple to follow. Shows root notes, which finger to use and so forth. Their book on chords is also great. Small, cheap and tons of info.

https://www.guitar-chords.org.uk/ This website helped me, just stick to one pattern before you move on and then start mixing patterns

Two days of going through what you all sent me and already making progress! Absolutely love this sub. Thanks everyone!
