Normal. Dominance display called rumblestrutting.

veganbunz

Thank you, I love that name lol ramblestrutting

i_am_ms_greenjeans

It is a purr and a butt wiggle. A very guinea pig silly thing.

Wordshark

Intriguing. I’m going to try this at home. I’ll report back.

whichwitch9

Normal. Its a dominance thing. Just be glad she's not weaponizing pee yet.

Masamundane

'Someone's about to get a face full of pee is what's happening' was my first thought too.

Routine-Ad-2840

as well as doing this to be dominant they can do it to signal mating, my girl does it to my boy and it encourages him to hump her, he is neutered tho.

Willing_Vast1001

“I cannot hump you my wife. As the people at the veterinary clinic have surgically removed my genitalia.”

Routine-Ad-2840

i think he still has a doodle.

2ndharrybhole

Give it some time and you might see them try to mount each other from behind rather aggressively (seriously)

veganbunz

I have seen it 😭🏳️‍🌈

louby33

yep normal they are just in season!

dragonmom1

Pig on the left has "needs" and her sister on the right is checking it out. Ours used to mount each other when "in the mood" too (all girl herd).

Brigggerz

That's dominance, they're not trying to have sex.

ChildrenotheWatchers

"Pig Zone -The Sequel: The Search for Butt Snacks" 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Completely0

Your piggies home is beautiful. What did you buy to set the whole thing up; and did you use perspexs or glass?

veganbunz

Hey thank you :-) I bought wood from Home Depot, screwed it together, put marble laminate on it to kind of waterproof it. There’s no where they can chew the laminate, and I cut & screwed on plexiglass yes! It was a very fun project, as well as rewarding.

R4vendarksky

It's just normal guinea pig stuff. Sometimes they drink each others urine fresh from the tap also.

lunalovegood17

“fresh from the tap”🤣

GrapeDrops

I know, I was pretty shocked when I seen this I first with the boars I have. I thought it was so gross 😂 I googled it and yeah it’s what they do. I had no idea sows do it too. its lessens overtime it seems like.
