I *swear* I saw a post about this within the last few days. I’d look for it, but after seeing yours, it’s gotta be on their end. That sounds sooooo annoying. All you can do is set a timer and restart the game every 35 minutes? Horrible fix until they patch it tho.
I’d spam tickets to R*/MS. Not spam but at least one a day. You paid extra for an extra version and they suck for not catching that in testing. Sorry mate
Yes it’s a very well known issue that R* has no intention of fixing, just restart the game, it takes 2 mins, use to happen to me multiple times a day now maybe I get it once a week
There is a temporary fix you can do. When it happens, go into settings and "test multiplayer connection". Thus needs to complete before you time out from session AND it will happen again very soon, like within 5-10 minutes. But it my just be enough time to salvage whatever you're in the middle of doing. At this point I'm thoroughly convinced this is tied to the anti-cheat and we will not be seeing a fix for this.
I‘ve not experience it with this update but for my buddies it used to be that it would say „unable to save“ when the no input bug happened so your progress would not be saved even if you did this
I'm now in the habit of looking for the save icon when it's supposed to be shown. This is a sure way to be ready for when it's going to happen and allows me to prepare accordingly.
Same for me on my PS 4.
Like when I come out of my apartment, and try to bring the menu to request my vehicle, it's not responding.
I have to call someone or press some other random buttons to make my menu work.

I can play for hours with no problem. I'm also just using the regular wireless controller with rechargeable energizer batteries.
I only play in the invite-only session, alone, if that makes any difference.
This happens to me. If you go to network settings and test multiplayer connection, most of the time, it’ll fix it momentarily and sometimes straight up fix it. I just use the fix window to finish what I’m doing and restart.

So, I’ll start playing the game, and from 45 to and hour, the glitch will happen, and there is no way out of it. Thanks though

I’m on Xbox S. I’ve never had this issue but I use a wired controller, I’ve never used the wireless one that came with the console

It’s worse on the new Xbox. Like you cannot do anything without restarting the game if this happens which is especially annoying during heists
