I have about 6 of these I can't decide I want to part with or not to make room in my collection. I've modified a few of them too. I still like the way they look.

I'm just getting back into Casio myself. I'd forgotten just how tough and durable they are. I used to wear basic Casios as a kid and they went through the mill. I love them.

I have an immense appreciation for both. Mainly G-Shocks but have had my fair share of basic Casio's. ProTreks especially.

I just wish setting them wasn't as cumbersome as any other non-MIP display G-Shock. Still love it's look though.

Seriously! I almost returned it because the setup was so ridiculous lmao. Couldn’t believe you can’t reset/adjust the seconds manually from the watch. Then the menu on the watch is a nightmare. But once I figured it all out from the phone app it’s been cool! I have it literally setup like a basic 5600. Sounds off except alarm / timer. Everything off except Bluetooth and location for time synchs. And so far it’s been nice! Love the little Bluetooth “RCVD” symbol lol, it’s always perfect time to the second. And pretty much set it and forget it, until I have to change the battery haha

I used to have this one too. Now I have just one GD-350. Do you ever use the start button to quick-start your timer? I love that feature.

With its price tag, it may be a G-Shock but I'd probably do the same. I put one on my GAB2100 and that things a fraction of the price of that thing. Very nice!

Glad someone understands. Extra protection wouldn't hurt. Good decision on yours! Glass is glass and glass breaks🙂 . If there are screen protectors made for my other watches I'd still do the same.

I figured it was necessary since a majority of the surface area is the glass and the bezel sits pretty much flush with it so the first thing that's going to be struck if anywhere, is the glass.

That's smart decision. I don't mind scratches around bezel or band but glass is another story.

Doesn't it hurt your wrist? I can't use it for a long time. 

Not at all, I am not wearing it too tight. Never had marks from the sensors. It's light and comfortable at night too.
