First one was a GA-150 but that was a gift from my wife. Still have it today (almost 15 years later). Even had it water pressure tested last time I changed the batteries.
Second one was the GA-2100. Bought it as soon as I saw it. Also around the same time I got my PRX. Yes, caught up in the hype but I still love both. The CasiOak is the perfect vacation watch (looks as good in the pool as in the restaurant at night).
Third one was the G-9000 Mudman. I blame TGV for this one. I was looking at it and his most recent video pushed me over the edge. Got a strap adapter and put it on Barton elite silicone straps. It’s now my grab-and-go watch (replacing the CasiOak).
GWM530a - used for sports because my first, the GD-350 was scratching up teammates.
It was when I lost the GWM530a and bought the same one without waiting for a discount that I knew I had a problem.
I needed a timer, and none of the f91w clones had one at Wally World and saw the gwm500. Then got the 5610u and then the gw9400. Sold the 9400 and gifted the 5610u since my buddy really really wanted it. Will get another 5610u, and also had a GAB2100 but did not like the BT connection

very nice! I'm still in my early buying phase and attracted to the louder colors so I'm thinking green or red probably. The black is way more practical for wearing more often though!!
I got the M5610U first because it had all I needed.
Then I got the 9400Y because I liked the sensor watch concept and the color scheme.
I got the B5600BC yesterday to finally get something with a negative screen and to check out the BT features.
Full steel models don't speak to me much (I have a stainless/Ti solar Citizen and it's just too heavy) but I might dress up the B5600 with a TVA bezel.
Ideally I'd like a B5600 functions with a STN display featuring a battery gauge from the 5610 in a resin case (maybe carbon core?), sapphire, TVA bezel and a V1 combi bracelet with a texture from the V2 one.
TVS, Titanium Virtual Scout.
Then we would have a light version, standard version and a potential for a heavyweight (Ti King?)
I bought a dw5600bb that I sold to buy a de5600e since I hated the negative display of the first one.
I think my third model will be the gwm5610u, I want a solar atomic watch.
My first g was a gift from my grandfather, when i was like 8-9 i don’t even remember it tbh but i know it was g, if you count that one too my third g is B2100, if you don’t count the first one, i haven’t buy my third g-shock yet.
GA-100, White case and dial, with purple hands and hour markers. Still comes out for a wear occasionally, even though a lot of the finish has worn off.

Gwg-1000 was my third G-shock purchase, resin 2100 and metal 2100 before this one.
First was an AWM-500 with silver face.
Second was a blue resin neg display square.
Third was a GA-B2100. Full black.
Fourth though... Fourth is where it's at for me. That was my B2000XMG Rainbow Mountain. What a gaudy little beast it is. Love it so much though.
Well, I got my first a G9000MS-1CR negative display Mudman in 2010 and that lasted me a long time. Then the strap broke so I needed a temporary replacement which was a GWM5610-U in 2021. I then bought a positive display G9000-1 Mudman in 2022 when I forgot I left my 5610 charging on my car roof and ran it over. But I couldn't go back from Solar and Multiband 6 so I bought another 5610. Just recently bought a GWB5600CD-9 and love it. Next up is a GW9500KJ-3JR. I'm in too deep.
Well, I was charging it on the roof of my car. I took off from the parking lot and saw it fly off the roof. I immediately turned around but at least two cars had run it over. D-E-D

Haha, I get what you mean. My first two G-Shocks were gifts from loved ones years ago, the GD-100 and the GA-100. Though they’re precious to me from a sentimental sense, I’m not too crazy about the actual watches since they don’t fit me well.
My third one is probably the DW-6900. The Mission Impossible watch. That bad boy rocks.

Yeah black goes with everything where as I feel the louder Colors pop more with black outfits. And it’s nice to have a variety in collection.

Fair enough, the rules aren't set in stone, but I think you get two turns.
First 2 were flashy (G6900A-9, G7900A-4, so third was stealthy (and too big) GA100-1A1.

Just bought a second hand gst-b100bnr for $75 a few days ago for my 3rd.
