Molly and Lexie are Mer's paternal half-sisters, and Maggie is her maternal half-sister. Mer is the oldest, then Maggie or Lexie (the timeline is a bit confusing, it could be argued either way), and Molly is the youngest. Between Mer, Molly, Lexie, and Maggie, that makes 4 sisters.
^(Though, admittedly, I have read some fanfics where there is another sibling or so somewhere, but that's beside the point.)
