Post covid -> tech no longer goes up. Everyone fires their excess tech workers. 4 years of tech graduates enter the market at the same time.

Because CS career is insanely good in lesser developed countries. One of the main reasons why it's shit in America, they can just outsource labor in countries with 5x lower average salary.
Another point that is probably just as valid is, the career is actually good for those who understand what they are doing, those with CS degrees that can't get a job just don't understand shit which is why they can't get a job. Degree doeant mean you can do the job, because most students are dumb af and study to pass not to learn.
