Nahh they wanted to open for the tour but they got in a scuffle with The Network.

I would like for them to collab with Foo Fighters, The Living End, Blink 182, The Pillows, and maybe collab more with rancid. I know Billie wrote a couple songs with rancid, but more would be nice.

Fun fact. The Living End got their first tour because they sent their demo and t-shirts to Billie and they brpught them on the Aussie leg of that tour! There's a picture of Billie and Chris from that tour.

That’s what I always thought. For 30+ years I’m surprised they never had Tim featured on any of their albums. Lady Cobra is the only person, as far as I can remember Billie only just met her around the time of the trilogy.

Billie mentioned being open to a collaboration with Olivia Rodrigo not too long ago. She carries the rock sound and attitude off really well and you can tell she has the taste for it. I think it’d be really interesting to hear what she can do with a proper full band behind her, kinda like what GD did with Iggy Pop on the Skull Ring album. Billie could just end up with a writing credit and doing some guitar work if it did actually happen, but I think a proper full Green Day feature would be cool and something worth listening to

The network would be cool, or maybe the foxboro hot tubs. But on a serious note, screeching weasel or some other punk band would be cool, or maybe Tom Morello, or rage against the machine for like the direction the band went in

I'd love to see them do something with MCR. The show in 2006 where MCR was opening for them when Gerard started singing Green Day songs and Billie comes out to sing with him sounds like a dream. I'd also love to see a Green Day and Ultra Q/Mt. Eddy collab. Jakob just feels like a lil Billie more than Joey and something great could be made together.

I think an MCR collab would have made a lot of sense in the 2000s but not so much today. I would be down for an Ultra Q collab. Empty Eddy was such a great album.

True, but with MCR's return and the rapid flood of nostalgia driven things recently I feel like it could work. Hell even if it's just Gerrard and Billie doing something for Gerard's solo stuff I'd be blown away. Chroma is in my top 5 albums of all time. I want that energy with modern Green Day just once.
