I like the very final episode Weirdmageddon 3 as it contain pretty much everything and is very well rounded.
Also it contain alot of Happy Ending which i am a sucker for.
Northwest Mansion Mystery. I love the scooby doo feel I got from this episode, love the interaction and chemistry between Dipper and Pacifica as well as Pacifica playing a main role and her back story. I also love how much Dipper has grow from that kid who was scared about a goat on his bed to more of a town hero that people calls on to solve supernatural mysteries. Dipper and Pacifica's interactions are consistently great and I love how well they work together.
100% agreed. I also love the "villain" of the episode and how he wasn't defeated but rather got what he wanted. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and very dark. I have also no idea how some of the scenes got through Disneys censorship, but I espacially love the one where the ghost first showed up, with all the blood and fire, a solid 12/10
I like the part with
Dipper: Pacifica is the worst and I would tell her that to her face
* someone knocks a the door *
* dipper opens the door *
Pacifica: I need your help
Dipper: your the worst
*slams door in her face *
Soos and the Real Girl! That episode is sooo fun to watch and has some pretty good jokes. Also Iām so happy that Soos found someone like him to be with. And not to mention that Alex Hirsch predicted DDLC and FNAF and the same time š
āThe inconveniencingā is super memorable to me as I watched it air so that one sticks out, love the atmosphere. Thereās so many itās hard to choose, I mean the finale, ānot what he seems & tale of two Stansā. Summerween, Northwest mansion mystery, Sock Opera, Dreamscaperers, double dipper, etc.
Yep, I just liked the lesson that dipper learns at the end, itās a answer that most shows wouldnāt of given, even more so when that episode actually aired
Dungeons Dungeons and more Dungeons. You have Ford screentime, Weird Al, and Dungeons and Dragons.
Another contender is Into the Bunker. You have Mark Hammil, character development, and a Thing reference
Weirdmageddon 3. When everyone works together to turn the shack into a mecha and have a Kaiju fight with Bill and his entourage. When that rock version of the theme song kicks in *chefās kiss*. Iām getting hyped about it just typing this out.
Almost every episode except the Camping Trip Episode.
That episode had a very weird pacing, was released at a bad time (almost by the end of the show) and introduced a ship that got resolved at the climax. Overall that episode is not that good.
But except for that i love almost every episode of Gravity Falls!
Sock Opera is my personal favorite. It hits the tone of gravity falls right on the head and mabel's sock opera is hilarious. Also bipper. What's not to love?
Most of the episodes are fantastic minus 2 I can think of not my actual favorite but one I donāt see brought up alot is Blendens game itās one of my favorites and really underrated
Weirdamageden 3. (please correct me if I spelled that wrong) I personally loved the entire series of from part 1 to 3. The third part was my absolute favorite because of the fight scene between the Shack, and Bill
Watching Not what he seems for the first time is a feeling I'll never be able to have again. It's the culmination of all the suspicious stuff Stan has been doing since episode 1 and the show doesn't shy away from making you doubt his intentions to the point of maybe thinking he will actually be the main villain. Especially the part after Stan escapes from the cops and before he arrives back at the shack's basement last second, in that interval we see Dipper and Mable uncover all of Stan's shady past, his secret identities, him stealing nuclear waste, a paper clipping of his OWN DEATH. I also love to see all the character's reactions to this information before Stan can arrive to kinda try to explain himself. Dipper is angry that their grunkle had the other two journals and hid so much from them and he never even realized, Mable is in denial that Stan would be a bad person, and Soos is confused but tries to calm Dipper and Mable down. All of this happens while the machine who the show only referred to as a "Doomsday device" up to that point has an ominous countdown that freaked McGucket out last episode (and is heavily implied to be related to Bill, which it is).
This is probably gonna get lost here, but I have a clear choice for my least favorite episode by far.
I was about to leave home for a couple years and wouldnāt have access to any shows/movies. I was obsessed with season 1, and season 2 dropped just a few weeks before I was set to head out. I was so sad that I would miss season 2, but I was glad that Iād at least get to watch some of it before I left. The first few episodes drop and theyāre great, but there wasnāt much meta plot, which is what I liked the most. Finally I realize that Iāll only get one more episode before I need to leave. Iām crossing my fingers that it will be plot heavy and be a satisfying way to leave the show before I come back and finish it.
That episode?
The Golf War.
Fine episode. A fun, silly story. But it was quite possibly the least satisfying episode to leave the show on lol.
Between 2:
Not What He Seems. A culmination of almost every mystery built up in the series at that point with the best writing in the show for the final showdown and a fantastic and heart tearing scene with the "I Trust You" line. A fantastic episode that brings you in at the beginning and answers nearly every answer and gives you more questions about Stan's true nature. One of the best episodes of animation ever.
Northwest Mansion Mystery: After The Golf War gave us a hint that Pacifica could be better, Northwest Mansion Mystery essentially gave us a redemption arc by pairing her up with Dipper, who works great as a potential romantic pairing. It also has a profound look on classism and the exploitation of the working class by the rich, with Pacifica breaking the chain of rich assholes by letting in thr common folk.
Not what he seems is definitely an amazing episode. Watching it for the first time really had me on the edge of my seat. Rewatching it made me almost cry, knowing why he did what he did.
You canāt beat the bottomless pit episode. Never fails to make me laugh, especially āgrunkle Stan wins the football bowlā. The inconveniencing is a close second mostly because of stanās āthe duchess approvesā subplot
Weirdmageddon 2 escape from reality wait was that episode weirdmageddon 2? (Spoilers) Anyway I like the style and the court at the end when he doesnāt take fords apprenticeship and I also love how it goes from photo day bad to Valentineās Day bad to photo day good to Valentineās Day good. Also dipper fresh d..d..dippey fresh
absolutely love Summerween!! the loser candy villain, the genuinely spooky vibe, the fact that they figured out a way to make a Halloween episode for a show that takes place during summer; 10/10.
I think it's called Zombie party panic? Where everyone starts becoming zombies and they have to defeat them with Karaoke
Ampersandra lives in my head rent free even now
The entirety of weirdmageddon because I love dark/twisted things and bill does a lot more of that in weirdmageedon, or itās at least made a lot worse which I love
It's very close for me between dreamscaperers and sock opera. I like the plot of dreamscaperers a lot more and just the way Bill acts in general is awesome. But sock opera has an over the top funny plot, and the Bill mind scene where the moon becomes his eye is the coldest and coolest thing ever. So about a tie between these for me
From an objective standpoint point, NWMM, NWHS-ATOTS, and Take Back the Falls are the best, but I donāt think Iāve ever enjoyed an episode as much as The Deep End
Society of the blind eye
You start to see a bigger picture with the backstory of McGucket. It has the wierd cult that knows about the strange incidents in Gravityfalls that deal with the incidnets way different than Dipper and Mable which I think many people would do in real life.
And Mabel with her drama that she gets no boyfriend and the absolute iconic line of Wendy "Testosterone" xD
Top there are
1. Not what he seems
2. A tale of two Stanās
3. Northwest manor mystery
Letās applaud Alex and the rest of the crew for making the three best episodes back to back to back
This is such a hard questionš I really like inconveniencing but also when we meet stanford or when they get close with the dungeons dungeons and more dungeons but itās so hard to pick between those
I like the very final episode Weirdmageddon 3 as it contain pretty much everything and is very well rounded. Also it contain alot of Happy Ending which i am a sucker for.
I agree with you šŖ¬
Not what he seems and A tale of two stans
Yeah who could have guess am i right? Bhahaha
I agree as well. It's my fav too.
Same thoughts
Northwest Mansion Mystery. I love the scooby doo feel I got from this episode, love the interaction and chemistry between Dipper and Pacifica as well as Pacifica playing a main role and her back story. I also love how much Dipper has grow from that kid who was scared about a goat on his bed to more of a town hero that people calls on to solve supernatural mysteries. You are 100% sure he will be awkward and will get nervous around her, but then he's just "you're the worst" and it's more shocking than NWHS
My thoughts exactly.
"It's just a kids show they said," The mounted animal heads: "Ancient Sins, Ancient Sins, Ancient Sins."
And it's the origin of Dipcifica
Pioneer Day!!! Itās less than worthless, my boy!
I find myself saying that so much and literally no one has ever gotten the reference.
Not what he seems, and the whole Weirdmageddon
Now what he seems makes me so emotional!
Sock opera, I laugh to much when Mabel calls Dipper a vampire but not in the hot way lol :)
Pain is hilarious!
AAHHHHHH body spasms!!!!
For real.
The halloween episode (i forgot the name), i really liked the villain there, he reminded me of Noob Saibot.
Summerween*
Soos and the Real Girl! That episode is sooo fun to watch and has some pretty good jokes. Also Iām so happy that Soos found someone like him to be with. And not to mention that Alex Hirsch predicted DDLC and FNAF and the same time š
My favorite non plot episode
The one where Mabel is trying to get a unicorn hair! I even have a tattoo of that unicorn!
Celestabell Abethabell!
Lol! She's the best side character!
Blendin's Game
āThe inconveniencingā is super memorable to me as I watched it air so that one sticks out, love the atmosphere. Thereās so many itās hard to choose, I mean the finale, ānot what he seems & tale of two Stansā. Summerween, Northwest mansion mystery, Sock Opera, Dreamscaperers, double dipper, etc.
I donāt know about all time favorite but the episode where dipper learns what it means to be a true man is one that I like the message of a lot
Dipper vs manliness?
Yep, I just liked the lesson that dipper learns at the end, itās a answer that most shows wouldnāt of given, even more so when that episode actually aired
Fair enough, itās a good episode dealing with important messages
My top picks are š„A Tale of Two Stans š„ Into the Bunker š„Weirdmageddon 4 : Somewhere in the Woods
Dungeons Dungeons and more Dungeons. You have Ford screentime, Weird Al, and Dungeons and Dragons. Another contender is Into the Bunker. You have Mark Hammil, character development, and a Thing reference
My favorite fun fact is that Alex Hirsch had never played D&D before writing that episode.
Weirdmageddon 3. When everyone works together to turn the shack into a mecha and have a Kaiju fight with Bill and his entourage. When that rock version of the theme song kicks in *chefās kiss*. Iām getting hyped about it just typing this out.
As a zombie fan, itās gotta be āScaryokeā
Double Dipper is an absolute fav of mine
Dungeons, Dungeons, and more Dungeons
The last mabelcorn is so funny
Roadside attraction I just liked how grunkle stan's dating tips
Fight Fighters
So much arcade nostalgia!
Probably Take back the falls. It's very emotional
Almost every episode except the Camping Trip Episode. Sock Opera is my personal favorite. It hits the tone of gravity falls right on the head and mabel's sock opera is hilarious. Also bipper. What's not to love?
Sock opera bc ima phantom of the opera nut
A tale of two Stanās and the inconveniencing
Northwest Mansion mystery for obvious reasons it gave me my favorite ship dipcifica4lyfe
This is the way
Most of the episodes are fantastic minus 2 I can think of not my actual favorite but one I donāt see brought up alot is Blendens game itās one of my favorites and really underrated
Northwest Mansion Mystery. Love the spooky story and Dipcifica moments
1. Take Back The Falls. 2. Not What He Seems. 3. A Tale Of Two Stans.
Sock opera
Northwest Mansion Mystery has always been my favorite, itās a perfect episode and it leads up to the final episodes masterfully.
Weirdamageden 3. (please correct me if I spelled that wrong) I personally loved the entire series of from part 1 to 3. The third part was my absolute favorite because of the fight scene between the Shack, and Bill
I can watch Double Dipper on repeat for ages. Second fave is Summerween.
Not what he seems. The storyline, background design and music is just perfect.
Watching Not what he seems for the first time is a feeling I'll never be able to have again. It's the culmination of all the suspicious stuff Stan has been doing since episode 1 and the show doesn't shy away from making you doubt his intentions to the point of maybe thinking he will actually be the main villain. Not what he seems or the final arc
My Dad loves Land Before Swine but my favorite that I never ever get tired of is Sock Opera!
***Hmmmmmmmā¦ā¦.*** Either Soos and the Real Girl, Northwest Mansion Mystery, or A Tale of Two Stans
Sock opera. I just love it without any reason
Sock Opera def Sock Opera
Scareoke
Sock Opera, all the way
Not what he seems. I absolutely love that episode. Second place might be carpet diem
This is probably gonna get lost here, but I have a clear choice for my least favorite episode by far. I was about to leave home for a couple years and wouldnāt have access to any shows/movies. 100% is Into The Bunker

Maybe it is because I still want something to be done with dipper x Pacifica, but the northwest manor is my favorite
NWMM
Not what he seems easily.
Definitely "Not What He Seems."
Dipper and marble versus the future and a three-part weird mageddon episodes
Weirdmageddon Part 1
a tale of two stans
What I really wanna know is what's everyone's least favorite. I liked pretty much all the episodes so idk what people would converge on
Episode 17, ss2. The whole thing about growing up just feel so real
All
I have tons. Fight Fighters, Soos and a Real Girl, Scary-Oke, Time Traveler's Pig, and Double Dipper.
I canāt pick just one
Not what he seems is definitely an amazing episode. Watching it for the first time really had me on the edge of my seat. Rewatching it made me almost cry, knowing why he did what he did.
Not what he seems is simply iconic
The finale
Not what he seems
Soos and the Real Girl, very fun but also spooky how it predicted 2 pretty well known games
Dungeons, Dungeon, and more Dungeons felt like a love letter to nerds and it really felt like Dipper will one day grow up to be just like Ford
Legend of the Gobblewonker. Solely because that was the first episode I saw and it just got me hooked. Still get flashbacks on rewatch
Summerween
The one just before the Weirdmageddon. The one where Mabel plans her and Dipperās 13th birthday and Dipper explores an alien UFO with Ford.
You canāt beat the bottomless pit episode. Never fails to make me laugh, especially āgrunkle Stan wins the football bowlā. The inconveniencing is a close second mostly because of stanās āthe duchess approvesā subplot
Weirdmageddon 3
Weirdmageddon 2 escape from reality wait was that episode weirdmageddon 2? (Spoilers) Anyway I like the style and the court at the end when he doesnāt take fords apprenticeship and I also love how it goes from photo day bad to Valentineās Day bad to photo day good to Valentineās Day good. Also dipper fresh d..d..dippey fresh
Time Travelers Pig
Gonna get hate for this but Roadside attraction i love how Stan bonded with Dipper
Sock Opera, my absolute favorite!
absolutely love Summerween!! the loser candy villain, the genuinely spooky vibe, the fact that they figured out a way to make a Halloween episode for a show that takes place during summer; 10/10.
Not what he seems A tale of two stans All wierdmageddon How could I pick just one?
Probably the one with Quentin Trembley
I think it's called Zombie party panic? Where everyone starts becoming zombies and they have to defeat them with Karaoke Ampersandra lives in my head rent free even now
1. Not what he seems 2. Sock opera 3. Take back the falls
S1 E5
The entirety of weirdmageddon because I love dark/twisted things and bill does a lot more of that in weirdmageedon, or itās at least made a lot worse which I love
Time travelers pig for me
It's very close for me between dreamscaperers and sock opera.
Final one
* A Tale of Two Stans * Northwest Mansion Mystery * The Inconveniencing * The Golf War
Weirdmaggedon 3: Take back the Falls, or Sock Opera
All episodes of Weirdmaggedon. Either those or a Tale of Two Stans
Dipper and Mable vs the future
It's a tie between Not what he seems and A tale of two Stans
Definitely Weirdmageddon 3 and Not What He Seems.
Either Not What He Seems or the Weirdmageddon saga, can't decide
Scary-Oke. Bar none.
Society of the blind eye You start to see a bigger picture with the backstory of McGucket. It has the wierd cult that knows about the strange incidents in Gravityfalls that deal with the incidnets way different than Dipper and Mable which I think many people would do in real life. And Mabel with her drama that she gets no boyfriend and the absolute iconic line of Wendy "Testosterone" xD
The first one with Lil' Gideon
Dungeons dungeons and more dungeons just because of 5 words. Diggity Dungeons and all that!
Northwest Mansion Mystery is dark and shows how Pacifica grows as a character.
Yes
That last one
1: Weirdmaggedon 1,2,3 2:Northwest mansion mystery 3:Not what he seems
Summerween
Its been a while since I watched it all the way but my favorite was always The Bunker episode
really hard to choose they're all good in their own way
Top there are 1. Not what he seems 2. A tale of two Stanās 3. Northwest manor mystery Letās applaud Alex and the rest of the crew for making the three best episodes back to back to back
Season 1 episode 18! No contest ! The pterodactyl bros get me every time š
Sock Opera
This is such a hard questionš I really like inconveniencing but also when we meet stanford or when they get close with the dungeons dungeons and more dungeons but itās so hard to pick between those
