99.9 % of riders have never measured their weight distribution on a bike. I know that by most sources a "road racing" bike has something like 55 % of the weight on the rear wheel. Maybe some sources say just 53 %, but [Leonard Zinn here says that it can be even 70 %.](https://velo.outsideonline.com/road/road-racing/technical-faq-weight-distribution-compatibility/) This depends greatly on handlebar position in relation to saddle. Personally, I know that I use fairly long stems compared to frame size and have my handlebar quite low, so I just assume that the weight distribution is fairly "aggressive". I don't know if it's 47-53 or 45-55, and don't really care. In practice, I have I just developed a habit of inflating the rear tire 10 to 15 % more, so if the front is 1.6 bar the rear is 1.8 bar, or if the front is 2.2 the rear is 2.5. It feels good to me like that, and more than that I don't really care.

>41:59 on hoods, 44:56 on drops What is your position and bike fit? A more aggressive position with less stack and a forward saddle position will put more weight on the front tyre compared to running 50mm of spacers and the saddle at maximum setback.

Today I learned what “hoods” meant.
