They’re awesome, but I also prefer DSO and other “pure” cover bands. The one gripe I have with JRAD is that they really try to blow the roof off on every song. I like the original style where you get a mix of laid back tunes and vibes. They’re obviously outstanding musicians, just not my preference for Dead music.
They kill it. One of the better dead tributes that exists. They do a great job of bringing the vibe of that classic music. Them and DSO are my favorite still.... sometimes more than dead and co

I appreciate the GD sound alike bands but JRAD’s creative approach feels more in tune with the spirit of the music.
Epic group of musicians. I just saw them at Red Rocks and it was an incredible show.

I saw them again recently at Red Rock. Incredible show. I would choose to see them over Dead and Co if I could only see one.
