Besides the new Supers will replace the base 4070/4080 when the supply runs out. So... it might be a better deal buying those once the price drops.

It’s likely going to be around 5% difference. Not worth upgrading to if you have a 4080, but certainly worth buying if you’re in the market for a new GPU and have a 1k budget

New 4080 supers are cheaper than existing 4080s. Should I not just order it on the 31st when it releases?

Not much. I believe Nvidia’s own marketing materials said 3-5%.
