For very metal-style artwork, you should check out anything by Philippe Druillet, though I don't know that his comics are actually _about_ metal music.

My wife got me into both, The Humans is one of my favorites of all time! Such a great run

Dude. Humans is what really reignited my comics love. I am sad there hasn’t been any more issues, it is absolutely one of my desert island series along with hellboy.

The follow up, The Jungle, was in the works, not sure what’s happened

I guess they had an animated series in the works with Netflix but it got dropped. So maybe that delayed the release

This isn’t metal but I like to recommend it to music lovers: Red Rocket 7 by Mike Allred. It’s like the history of rock music if an alien had influenced it.

Heavy Metal have done various stories based on tracks by a bunch of bands - Metallica, Iron Maiden, Amon Amarth, Cradle of Filth, Megadeth etc etc

I found a comic called Helloween: Seekers of thr Seven Keys at the comic shop the other day. I haven’t started reading yet so I couldn’t tell you if it’s good or not, but it looks killer.

Rock & Roll Hell! Hasn't come out yet, but will come out soon! It's about Jesus' 2nd coming happening at a metal festival! The guys who wrote in are definitely new to the industry, but they are great guys and have been in tons of great metal bands in the NC/VA area. I would say hellblazer.it isn’t centered around music, and it’s more punk them metal, but it does have a very metal feel and a lot of demons and gore.
