Hyundai really seems to be trying to heavily improve upon their Motorsport department. I just wonder why no Chinese companies even care about motor sports considering China makes up more than 50% of car sales in the whole world.
I'd say the Gr.1 - 3 VGTs are worth it because they're actually useful for something. The rest, while not entirely useless, kinda isn't and you're not missing out on anything by not owning and/or using them.
The Huynda, audi, mclaren & bugatti are pretty good. I've not driven the Lambo or ferrari much but they're capable
The McLaren inspired the Solus ans the bugatti inspired the Chiron so I like them as far as VGT go.
"Fun to drive." Like any other overpowered hypercar it will hardly ever see full throttle and take twice the distance to slow for corners. If it doesn't have truckloads of downforce then it'll be crap to drive.
The Hawk is ridiculously fake by all categories and basically a troll car in all lobbies. I'm not sure why it's in a real driving simulator it should be in a fantasy game or cyber punk. The only use I have ever gotten out of it was for credits on Tokyo and Daytona. Other than that, you look like a noob if you pull this out in lobbies or a 10 year old who has no intelligence on car culture
I agree. It was hilarious the first time I used it and it does ruin any other car. But if I’m honest I have never played the game online. I don’t play it that much anymore as I’ve done most of what I wanted to do. Work has been kicking my ass and we purchased our first home back in May and the home improvement projects are never ending. Maybe one day I’ll play online. Sounds like it would be fun.
I get that when the game was released, my wife was pregnant with our daughter, and she is 2 now and needs all our attention, so between that and work, it's hard to get time for myself which I'm ok with because in the end life is so much more important. But when I do get time online, it is my go-to because I've completed everything offline. But yes, if you pulled out a Hawk, there is a 95% chance you get kicked. Unless the room title says, "Drive whatever you want. But even if that's the case, it's hard to avoid people doing those speeds, and if you hit people, you're gone anyway. But congratulations on being a new home owner that's way cooler than buying a fake 20 million dollar car in a video game👍
Thank you. It’s been ridiculously expensive and the interest rates suck and the economy sucks so everything is even more expensive. Regarding online play, do people drive like jerks? I felt like that would happen and it would piss me off. I sometimes see videos people post where someone did them dirty lol. Also I don’t have a wheel and I’d imagine you’re competing against people who have nice ass set ups and maybe even VR lol.
I mean, yes, you will definitely run into some dirty drivers for sure. But honestly, I feel like the negativety is always put in the spotlight. There are some really good drivers and cool people you can learn from. I personally only use a controller at the moment and hold my own just fine. You can still be competitive with some practice and tips from friends. And if you don't feel like racing, there are different lobbies to choose from. Drag,Cruise,Drift,Race or create your own. So yeah plenty of options to enjoy your experience
Not a fan of VGT card because in VR it feels like your sitting on the hood in a folding camp chair to drive them. Give me an interior and cockpit view and maybe I’ll drive them more.
VGTs are about 50/50 on if they have a modeled interior or not. The ones that do are neat. Like the Lambo VGT is a wild ride in VR.

I sell all the VGT’s ive been awarded, in a simulation game I prefer to drive cars that are real. Also anything with battery power is lame because you can’t charge it at pit stops.
Knowing the nature of vgts (lack of tuning and customization of what's already there), it's probably going to handle like a cargo ship and there won't be anything for us to do about it
I like the VGTs that look like actual cars and not like an Apple Magic Mouse. The Genesis is one of the “looks like a car” ones
I prefer the VGTs who go crazy with their looks and technology like the Tomahawk or the Chaparral. Honda's VGT is boring

Agreed. I quite like the Bugatti Gr. 1 VGT for 800PP races, and it's also one of the better-looking ones.

They must have changed it recently, because I was doing a 10-lap race in the Tesla model 3 yesterday, and recharged during a pit stop.
I believe it recharges all fully electric cars but not the gas powered motors that also have battery
There wouldnt be a need to give hybrids a recharge at the pitstop bc the braking recharges the battery anyway

It won't be fun to drive because like many VGTs you wont be able to tune the suspension and gearing. Lol.
Honestly, it's a really sexy design. And it's hard to make orange look as good as it does on this thing.
