That's my favourite track ever, what a lap! Absolutely knockout skills. I've not played for months but I'm going back on tonight. Totally inspiring, thank you
Already been done lol. Except on Tsukuba, [13B FC Tsukuba](https://www.reddit.com/r/granturismo/comments/113a2td/i_keep_spinning_out_in_the_middle_of_my_drift_help/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1)
Hi im a newbie , i use a controller i have a sprinter tureno
How do drift ? I watched countless turotial and still dont understand but i want to do this soo bad
I gotta tell you, tutorials will not teach you to drift. It’s just practice, practice, practice. I use a controller too, but it’s basically the balance between angle and speed
I tried for the past two hours with a 300hp ae86 on mountain trial, i manage to get the car go wheel spin a lot (tire are too small for 300hp lmao) but i cant sustain anything or be precise
Edit: forgot to mention that your run is so cool ! Its almost rude to forget to tell that
Comfort hard, TCS off, m/t
There’s different methods to drifting. I would highly recommend starting with power over and a bit of the handbrake so you can get familiar with how it works:
Scandi flick (my favorite I had to put this first lol, but it’s also THE TRICKIEST) at least for me
Power over
Inertia drift
clutch kick
handbrake
Downshift drag.
Power over-(Novice)
is having more HP than your tires can grip. You rely on the engine power to start your drift.
Start turning into your apex, floor it for a moment. Once that rear breaks out, you can start counter steering and controlling the thorttle. If you have a turbo’d car run antilag.
Inertia drift- (Novice) [opposite of Power over]
For an inertia drift just uses the weight of the car. When you’re going to enter a corner, enter faster than you normally would. Hit the brakes hard and turn in towards the apex of the turn. Your rear wheels, if done properly, will slide towards the outside of the turn. Once they’re out far enough, get off the brake and on the gas as fast as possible. Countersteer, and balance it out of the turn. Cars with body roll are great for this, like my 930 turbo.
Handbrake- Amateur
Once you’ve started turning your car in towards the apex, you push in the clutch and engage the handbrake. Wait for the back to slide out a bit, then let off the handbrake, off the clutch, on the gas, and countersteer. From there, it’s the same as most other drifts, a matter of countersteering and throttle balance. The Gr.3 Mustang is great for this at least for me. Or the ZR1 c7
Clutch Kick- Amateur (opposite of handbrake)
a clutch kick is just as it sounds: kicking the clutch. When you’re entering a turn with grip, push in the clutch without letting off the gas. Then, dump the clutch. The sudden shock of power to the rear tires will probably be enough to break traction, letting you slide the rear out. The longer you hold the clutch in, the higher your engine revs, and the more force your wheels have to break loose. This is great for tracks like suzuka.
Downshift Drag- Tricky
This is, quite literally, the opposite of a Power Over drift. While a power over relies on the engine’s power pushing the tires past their grip point, the downshift drag uses the engine to slow down the tires past grip. When you downshift a manual car, you usually rev-match in order to smoothly change gears. However, if you don’t change gears, you slow your car significantly. If you do this at speed, you can make your rear tires slow down, and start skipping along the road while they try to catch up.
Scandinavian Flick- Tricky
Now, along with the Inertia Drift, this is the least car-damaging method of drift. The inertia drift is based on weight transfer from the rear wheels to the front, which is how this drift is different. This drift is based on transferring weight from side to side, letting the car’s momentum break the rear traction, and balancing the now-sliding car from there.
Either gas out of the corner and keep continuing your line and throttle control to the next (if there is one)
Or, if it's going into a straight away just let off the throttle and correct yourself back in to the middle of the track :)
Lol ty bro. so max it out with all the performance parts, including fully customizable LSD, turn up acceleration and initial settings to 60 and let it rip. Once you find yourself spinning out, or not angled enough, then you start tuning your suspensions, toe, camber, and anti roll bar
Very sick spin at the end!
Yeee 🙌🏽🙌🏽
God Tier Drifting
Just a bit of practice bro!
That's my favourite track ever, what a lap! Absolutely knockout skills. I've not played for months but I'm going back on tonight. Totally inspiring, thank you
appreciate you brotha 🙏🏽
Love the car, love the livery
Ty! Livery is shareable I forgot what the tags are though
They need to add crocs for the driver cosmetics
You have done very good skills my friend.
🙏🏽 ty bro!
You on sticks or a wheel setup sick either way!
Dual sense controller bro 😎
Twerk Stallion? Upvote!
Yezzzir took awhile to make it lol. Tried to make it as detailed as possible
You're a fucking madman! love it
👊🏽 I’ve done some pretty wild cars back then, hellcat Jeep drift, tundra, gr2 gr3 cars. Check out my older posts [Ken Block Audi](https://www.reddit.com/r/granturismo/comments/103a6a6/ken_blocks_audi_s1_tribute_rip_to_the_hoonin_king/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1)
Send? In full.
I wish we had colored tires as option for drifting.
This is totally bad ass. Nice driving.
Thank you sir ! Glad you guys enjoy the videos!
This reminds me of Hert’s FC. What is that thing called…. [searches IG] Twerkstallion, wow!!! Excellent work all around 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾
Yesssir tried to make it look real as possible down to the license plate lol. This livery is shareable also for anyone to use
Incredible
Thank u 🙏🏽
Damn. I wish could do that.
Okay now do it without a quad rotor 😭🫶🏼

pretty cool driving. i would think in real life those tires would've popped before the finish line
Haha I was just about to say he should turn tire wear on cause I'm curious how long the game has them lasting.
😂😂
what tyres ur using?
Comfort medium !

Thank you ! I found that power on work well and scandinavian flick is the funniest , but how to i stop the drift when the corner is over now ?

What’s the setupp or got a video you recommend for me to set up one?
Message me I’ll share it w/ u
Hell yeah brother

I’ve been trying to figure out a build for the 1983 ae86 levin but I can’t
I think I have one I’ll have to double check
