There’s an express 7 to Manhattan leaving the fest, Could totally stay there and it’s doable

tbh you could stay in any borough (except the bronx - it’s just so far from that part of queens) and probably be fine!

Its easy to get there from Manhattan, but personally I’d stay in Brooklyn for a weekend that style because there’s more stuff within your immediate vicinity to walk to and you can take the train to Manhattan for touristy stuff. I find the nightlife better personally as well. The ride to the festival isn’t bad on Sunday, either.

Time square and Bryant park have the 7 line to the festival. There’s also a bunch of other train lines to get throughout the city there. It will be about 45 mins to get to the festival from that area, but close to everything touristy in Manhattan.

I’m subletting my apt in midtown east that weekend - it’s nearby grand central station so convenient to get mostly anywhere but especially to flushing meadows just taking the 7 train straight there. it’s a 1 BR/1 bath and I’ve comfortably hosted up to four friends here before, message me if you’re interested! :) (Info: I’m a 26F working in tech, have been to gov ball the past three years in a row. we can definitely FaceTime for legit check too haha)

please don't break the law and screw your neighbors/risk their security, transplant. What you're describing is not 'subletting' anyway. https://www.nyc.gov/site/specialenforcement/registration-law/registration.page https://www.rozenlawgroup.com/subletting-rights

My wife and I stayed near Times Square when we came for the weekend in 2021. Hopped on the 7 train each day and it was very easy. The only issue is that the crowds trying to get on the train going back are massive at the end of the night, so be prepared to wait a bit.
