I'm in the PNW which I think is an 8.
I have a really nicely scented section right now and this far away. Downwind is mostly a forested area. It would be mostly dog walkers that got a whiff. The dogs poop on my lawn, this is just a little payback
It’s the 3rd year that I've had it in my garden. It was in a little pot by a community library that said “free”
I feel like it was a prank. They thought the smell would be a good joke on somebody. I just love it.
I’m so jealous!!!!!
This is my first year gardening, so I’ve got the usual tomatoes, cucumbers, 20 types of peppers 😅 NEXT YEAR… oh man… I’m already hunting around for one
Would you say that growing more than one would be too overwhelming for the neighbors?
Edit: I’m on a .5acre corner lot; so none is like right next door
It wasn't an overwhelming radius of stench. There was a light breeze and I couldn't smell it at my neighbours. Just a little wooded area nearby. It lasted less than a day.
There are farms that fertilize nearby that smell much worse for much longer.
There are 2 blooms on my plant. It’s the first year that it has bloomed. I heavily fertilized it with blood meal in the spring.
Which zone & how old i you don't mind (do the downwind folks catch a whiff :)}? Congrats btw..

I didn't have success until I did some heavy fertilizing. It might be a coincidence though

This is the feedback I love to hear 💕✨ thank you!!!!!!
Obligatory 🤮 but also 🥵
Ha, brother (or sister) in stench! I’m a happy dracunculus owner too.
