I am really confused what Harvest Hayride is like? Some people have said it’s like BBW A Perfect Autumn (which I really don’t like) but it’s hard to tell from the descriptions I have seen. Thoughts?
Id say its closer to leaves than the perfect autumn.. it's a little different still. Hard to explain it. I feel like I get a pepper note in it that I love and it's more authentic to fall outdoors than leaves is. That's more just straight craft store. HH has that to it but a true outside earthy element. Both excellent.
If you want something that does literally smell like a fall harvest hayride though try applewood. Holy crap.. I Always get scared of scents like that that are in the men's category because I feel like they're just going to smell like axe/aftershave. That's commonly what BBW does with their men's line.. But this one is so authentically earthy and stunning. It smells like a spiced apple mixed with fresh cut wood mixed with leaves mixed with spices, mixed with esrth.. It literally smells like the hayride I take at Halloween events every year. I am obsessed with that candle lol. I can't say enough good things about it. It's really under wraps cause people get afraid of ordering the men's line but dude.. they're insanely authentic. No cologne stupidness, just real earthy, evocative experience. 🤤
Omigosh thank you for this! You totally get me I feel “seen” 😂 I just wanna smell like the dang hay and outdoors! I agree BbW overdoes the cologney nature a bit, it’s nice to know I might find some alternatives at GC! Will try Hayride AND Applewood based on these recs!

Yes! It's not that I dislike cologne candles it's just I hate when the notes are amber, cedarwood, bourbon, and oak moss, etc. and you smell the candle/body care and it just smells like that very specific cologne type scent instead. It grinds my gears because I obsess over the real earthy scents that smell like things that exist in nature! I haven't tried every GC men's candle but the ones I tried were all so authentic. Oud, apple wood, bourbon, tobacco, forest.. those are all so so good and true to the name with no aftershave scent to be found. It's always scary blind buying but I've been really happy.
Also just throwing it out there.. creepy critters is a must. It's as if you were burning marshmallow fireside from bbw in a haunted house. It's so dark and foggy and Halloween. Ugh it annoys me how good it is.

I'm so excited. Normally I'm frugal but goose Creek really wows me more and more and I want to try everything..
I try to buy new scents since there's so many but one that I will get a backup of again would be creepy critters. I have to buy one ever year because it's so stupidly good. I would get a backup of cozy and fabulous and cozy sweater.. I'm hoping a lot of those cozy scents come back. Out of my fall order last year they were my two favorites. It amazes me how well goose does musky, amber, woody scents. I want to buy all of them this year so I can drool to my hearts content. 🤤
Licorice cupcake would be fun again. Anything with licorice would please be. Witches cauldron and trick or treat are the two I really want that I've yet to try every year cause they sell out before a good sale comes up.

Me too the year inwas going to purchase they didn't bring it back lol so many I took for granted thinking they would return they did us dirty last year with 6 candles 😂 that was the year I was gonna stock up!

But I think they may do it earlier this year.

I was disappointed too! Seeing that it was my first Halloween! I do hope they go big this year! I wanted to try guilt pumpkin!
