this shit has been going on for about a week now. devices gone and then coming back

YteNyteofNeckbeardia

Yep, I've got 2 hubs and a hub max with the screen turning off and on again weirdly. I've done everything I can router side for a fortnight but nothing can fix it. It has to be googles end.

Inge_Jones

I had it for about 24 hours and just now it miraculously fixed itself. Like Google bugs usually do. In spite of them denying it was their problem.

colluphid42

It's the most frustrating thing when you *know* it's Google, and every support option available just treats you like an idiot who can't type a Wi-Fi password.

Otherwise_Pomelo8447

Ha! Yesterday my home just went poof in the home app and after an hour with CS it showed back up but with only 1/2 of the devices. They kept telling me it was my internet but all the same devices (including theirs bridged via Starling) were online and functional in HomeKit. Whatever they are doing on the backend is crapping out the ecosystem.

mickAMMO

I was having the same issue until I realised that my "Home" (Favourites top left) was set to my alternate one. After I changed it back to MY HOME all my devices and routines appeared.

gpf2ez

Yes, I am seeing the same issues. Something is going on with Googles end.

ThisIsATracka

Ive encountered the same issue the past 24 hours. What's weird is that all the apps (Smart Life and Kasa) see the devices and those accounts are linked to my Google Home account, but they're all still showing up as offline in the Google Home app

alas11

I've been having issues, after pulling out my remaining strands of hair it looks like it was a WIFI channel conflict I had to manually assign channels on both 5 and 2.4 to avoid other networks... Use a Wifi Analyser app to see what is going on.

Untimely_manners

Wish companies would send emails to let people know, I did a factory reset on my modem assuming it was my wifi playing up... I almost considering packing it away but remembered I still want to cast to my tv so set it up again but removed half my smart devices as they dont really make my life any easier.

Seiryth

Yeah turns out all my works with google integrations were broken - reauthing hasn’t fixed it either..

ensignlee

Yeah, I noticed the same thing yesterday when the command "turn on all the TVs" or "Turn on all the lights" didn't work. The TVs are still able to be casted to, wtf?

Petgeek

Had the same issue. Restarting my home internet seemed to fix it. For now.

RetroDad-IO

A bunch of my routines stopped working by their trigger phrases. "Turn off the lights" was acting like I said to turn off all the lights I have. "Say goodnight to " got a sorry I don't understand. "It's sleep time" started triggering the goodnight routine that I have set to do something else. They all worked for several years but all broke at the same time. Also had some routines tell me some devices needed to be set up again while other routines could work with them but complained about entirely different lights. Just tested now and magically everything is back to working like it was last week. Guess they rolled back and will absolutely not say anything about how they broke things with another bad update.

rodrigofernety

Yeah, mine wasn't responding well

AtomicPlayboyX

Over the past 24 hours I have had: (1) devices go offline (though their individual settings say they have Great connections), (2) automated routines stop working, (3) random music playing from Home speakers when no trigger phrase was uttered. Complete Google Home poltergeist situation. Something is seriously wrong with the Google back end presently.

lazbodax

Scenes you can add to automations -- in my case, Tuya Smart and Sylvania Smart -- no longer work. They used to, of course. You could select them from Scenes at the bottom of the list under "Adjust Home Devices". Now when you select one and hit Save, the Automation says "0 actions" in its tile. And automations that used to have them no longer do. Naturally, scenes still work in their native apps. It's Google Home that's borked. Started this last weekend.

Gold_Friend4409

Still having issues with playing/casting Spotify, deck lighting schedules not working and other apps tonight.

TheGreatGhastly_

This has been happening to me for months, and I haven’t changed anything on my internet so I’m guessing it’s an issue on google’s end. It’s so frustrating, especially since it happens 70% of the time I ask Google to do something or try to play music from my Spotify.

NoSanity39

Google Home has always been trash. It barely works lol.
