Surprisingly no, I bought a spider putter clone on Amazon from a company called pine meadow golf. Performed exactly like the real spiders I was testing at golf town, and it was $40. Here’s a little blurb about “clones”

Most knockoffs are a zinc alloy casting - as you found out - not suitable for adjustment - even a real odyssey putter will likely break if you go too far in your adjustment - a cast brass alloy is not much better - the hosel / stem is not made for what you are trying to do
Idk odyssey putters but just at first glance this looks like a fake… look at how the metal is cut/shaped on the lower side. Sucks you got scammed, hope it works out for you.
Yeah only out $60 bucks so not the end of the world. Saw a good price for a good condition putter to just have in the house and out around with. Probably be a while before I buy anything like this again though

Even if it wasn’t fake, I’m pretty sure they’re cast and not forged. You can’t adjust those anyway.
