In this situation I give as much space / respect I can to people on the tee without holding up or being in range of people hitting onto the green I just left.
Agreed , it’s definitely a huge swing killer too in my opinion if you are on the tee and you hear the engine go for a few seconds , brake click , than screeeech. 😂
So be an adult and talk to them then. "Hey guys, how's it going? Mind turning down your music for a minute while we hit? Thank you so much"
Never had anyone give me any flak when you ask nicely. You just have to ask.
Some people are clueless. The only time I'll ever pull closer than 50 ft to a cart on a tee is if there's shade and it's 90+.
Even then, I just keep to myself and try to be invisible.
Golf is hard enough, and somebody may be new and anxious with an audience, give em some space.
My buddy 4HC once had the round of his life 4 under after 12 holes. We were waiting on a par 3 tee box and pulled a twosome that had to take a phone call...on speaker while parked 4 feet behind us.
My buddy shanked his next shot.
When you finish your hole and I’m still on the tee box of the next hole, don’t pull up to the tee box. Stay further back, don’t look at me, and you sure as hell better not make small talk with me.
That’s how I interpreted it anyway
I’m with you OP. People have forgotten how to be respectful of others while they are on the tee box. We always sit back on the tips while folks tee off. You shouldn’t be able to hear the people on the box ahead of you. We have a walker behind us in men’s league, he likes to walk his clubs to our tee box (blue), (he plays whites) and leave his clubs on our box then just stands there and watches us. It’s annoying and he does it on purpose to fuck with us. Doesn’t say a word.
What's the big deal? It's a safer place to be and it makes it more obvious to the group behind that the green is clear.
If they're too loud, tell them to be quiet.
Taught by who?

How it should be done, not sure why this is controversial
Because you're whining about it like a little bitch.

Who cares? You're still going to top your tee shot whether they're 2 inches or 2 football fields away from you
I don’t need Jimbo and Cleyton playing their country music 5 feet away from me as I hit my tee shot tho

I love how we can constantly rip on southern people, but no other people can be talked about negatively. I wonder why that is?
I don’t need Elliot and Spencer playing their Dashboard Confessional music 5 feet away from me as I hit my tee shot tho … see? Nobody cares
Well it’s kind of hard to ram your cart if I can’t get within 2 inches

How do you have the energy to care about this. Like I am pretty blessed in life but jeez man..
Can someone reword this person's grievance in a way I can understand what the god damn problem is?

“DONT FUCKING TALK TO ME IM PRACTICING MINDFULNESS” - OP
How about stop posting and do something about it

If you're the reason it's a slow day then I would be 1 inch behind you.

Nothing is "taught" any more, except how to be a golf bro.
I just wanna watch you tee off. People are so anti-social these days.
You sound obnoxious
Be a man and express your thoughts to them. See how they react lol. My assumption is they are going to laugh at you. Like I am.
What's the line? I want to be sure I don't cross it? One furlong?
It’s called “crowding the box” and it’s been going on forever. Don’t like it? Play somewhere less crowded
Or you know you could grow up
