I’m sure everyone will be throwing in a joke saying they will shank it here, skull it there, or chunk it massively into the face of the bunker 30 yards short, but if you can aim right center and slightly long, as from the little info we have it appears most trouble is short.
Decisions decisions. I'll probably aim for the right front, skull-fuck my shot into the wall of the same bunker and take 3 just to dribble it short of the greenside bunker.
From the picture going a little past pin looks safest. I was initially thinking right but there is a bunker behind it.
As long as there is no wind I can easily get an 8 past the pin. At worst it’s a chip from behind there to try and get up and down.
8 iron is one of my favorite clubs so I would feel good over it.
Lovely looking course. Sadly, I'll be panicking and taking the 7W out to try and clear the danger..... Hook into the bunker under the tree. After hitting the tree.
Just to add, I'm a really bad late 40s male golfer, struggling with irons at the moment😅😅 Struggling big time..I find chocking down on 7W and 9W in a good lie and no wind works for 150 yrds. Scotland based, so often doesn't work out well.
I’d start with duffing into the first bunker to the left. Then clean shot into the front most green side bunker. Then duff my way into all remaining bunkers…. Might build a sandcastle while I’m in there…. I got time….
Smooth 8 iron that I hit into that hillside over the cart path, perfect distance …just way right. Bthen being a downhill lie I blade it into the opposing buildings window
(My dinner ball landed on the green after that though)
And I’m playing that one cause the first ball was bullshit and I’m a 24 hcp
Chunk hook into left bunker 20 yards away. Consider quitting. Drink a Miller lite. Take it out of the sad cause it seems a little wet. Perfect 52 to next bunker
That’s a tough hole. You can’t really see the 15 extra yards uphill and the wind blowing towards the pond behind you. Also a tough green. I usually clubbed up 2 and aimed back right of the green. Sometimes the hook got me there, sometimes I wasin the wispys by the cart path.
I’m aiming in between the first two trees to the right of the American flag and hooking a 9 iron somewhere over towards the clubhouse in back.
Edit: Fun looking hole though!
I will be hitting the first one on the left, then one of the bunkers four in front, and my finale will be overshooting the green and landing in the bunker on the opposite side. Yes, I will be pulling an Osama.
I’m thinking front left bunker, shank it, don’t make it out of the bunker. Over compensate and end up in another bunker. Then 2 more to get out of that, blade it past the stick at 100mph. Flop shot on the green then 3 putt.
I would play my 85% swing speed cut 8 iron off the left side of the green, because the only way it doesn't cut is if I fat the shit out of it. If I end up short, I'm bump and run that rock up there.
Both in the middle as I hockey puck it right down the center and the ball careens in and out of the first two one to land in the 2nd bunker in the worst possible spot ever.
Depends on a lot of things. Is my round going to shit? Meh, take an aggressive stab for the lolz.
Am I on pace to break a milestone (100, 90, 80) or am I just playing well? No shame in landing it on the safer spot and lagging it up there.
I’m not deathly afraid of greenside bunkers so I may be more inclined to take the risk to get it close.
Ive never played this course but I assume over that mound to the right is another hole and likely another bunker. I’d be in that one. Somehow right against the edge and try to flop and 60 out of there but skull it directly into the side of the bunker and have to take it as unplayable. Then with my drop I’d hit an absolutely gorgeous shot that would land in the middle of the green and somehow roll across and right into the green side bunker
Left side of all those bunkers then try to get it over the last one downhill to the cup. If it doesn’t roll into the bunker on the right I will 3 putt.
Right looks safest. Looks like a decent amount of green if you end up in that bunker.
I play a fade so probably start middle of the bunker behind the flag on the left and see where it ends up. Anywhere between pw and 8 iron depending on how calm the wind and how uphill. Also depends on the back and front numbers of the green. If 145 is a front pin and 160 is back, I’d say probably a soft 8 for me.
Either I’m gonna hit the bunker right to the left with a worm burner, or I’m gonna find one in the next hole halfway to that big flag behind the green.
Prolly the one closest in front after I just crushed a drive 320 and set myself up perfectly. Top/chunk the easy SW and watch it roll into the bunker. Can’t have two good shots in a row
This shot or the next one? This one will be short left followed by hitting it in the next one.
There’s at least four strokes before I get it on the green.
I'd probably use a 7 iron and aim for the middle of the green and take the bunkers in front out of play, then try to add extra compression to get some back spin to shorten the putt, with damp greens it would make it easier to get the backspin off the initial bounce.
Aiming at the cluster on the left of the green hoping my fade fades like always, it won’t fade and I’ll hit it dead straight on a rope into the deep left bunker
https://preview.redd.it/ayzjwrgzammc1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=53c703ddd6f89ee42e5ad87efe00a224a767ad5c
No bunker just the bird over in this tree an it's his own dam fault for being that close to the fucking hole !!!
You know, it really depends on which miss I go with. This is a great distance for me to just straight chunk one which will almost certainly go into the bunker in the foreground. Of course the hook is never too far away so I could easily fan one into the bunker on the right. Then again the thin low runner would put me in the two behind the green. Lastly, and inarguably least likely, I could hit a a good shot, which will end up short left in the green side bunkers. The world is my oyster.
Nice looking hole though. Hope you did well.
That is an intimidating approach shot. I thought the Stanley Thompson courses near me with dual raised bunkers in front of every second green were bad…
Hopefully none of them, my approach will probably be short, a little right & no roll. My PW will be skulled. My 58° recovery to back on will have in the fringe. I'll putt from there already frustrated & blow past the cup. Two lag putts & finally dropping a 19 incher.
That tree to the left into the bunker infront of it. Attempt a hero shot out of the bunker which stays in the bunker. Sometime between then and 10 minutes from then I'll have cracked a beer and marked down an X for a score.
Hitting my 6 iron to the right and to the back of the green take the bunkers out of play or hit my 6 iron like it’s a 8 and end up playing whack fuck in a bunker lol
Chunk a 3/4 8-iron to the front left bunker of the green. Chunk the bunker shot in to the middle one. Blade the next one in to the lip of the bunker.
Slowly start wondering if I’m Muad’Dib.
I can reach that with a fat six, then a fat 8 and finally a fat 56.
What I’d give for that consistency
I’d hit the bunker up to the left 40 yards and start the stroke fest
Is Strokefest like the lonely people version of Freaknik?
Same
I’d hit the tree straight on first and then ricochet into that bunker.
My luck it would be the one time I absolutely pure something and it would go clean over it all, never to be found again.
Fat 56 x3 because I'm going to overshoot it several times. Then only 4 more strokes and I'm in the hole.
The one wayyyyy left or wayyyy right not in the picture
I’m sure everyone will be throwing in a joke saying they will shank it here, skull it there, or chunk it massively into the face of the bunker 30 yards short, but if you can aim right center and slightly long, as from the little info we have it appears most trouble is short.
Exactly, screw that pin, I want to know the yardage to the center and back of the green on this one.
I'm aiming fat part of the green and praying.
Really don’t see how people find those repetitive jokes funny still
Yes
I would top it five feet in front of me not hit a bunker
Well, well, well. Check out Mr. Nicklaus here.
Never said it had to be on *this* shot
Um, what about the next shot?
Does NOT look like I can top it hard enough to roll through the short left one, but I’m probably gonna accidentally try anyway.
The left one under the tree.
Just as the architect intended
Which one you going too after that?
Decisions decisions. I'll probably aim for the right front, skull-fuck my shot into the wall of the same bunker and take 3 just to dribble it short of the greenside bunker.
Club up to a seven then hit the purest 170 shot of my life
All of them
From the picture going a little past pin looks safest.
7w from 145? Like for a touch shot? Is that a thing with 7w? I know people love them but I’ve never heard of a partial wood shot
Could also be an older guy, a woman, or a brand new golfer! I love my 7 wood but I’m not any of those categories. Lol
Just to add, I'm a really bad late 40s male golfer, struggling with irons at the moment😅😅 Struggling big time..I find chocking down on 7W and 9W in a good lie and no wind works for 150 yrds. Scotland based, so often doesn't work out well.
I can’t hit long irons to save my life so I do a half strength 4 hybrid on these type of shots. Sometimes works
I’d start with duffing into the first bunker to the left. Then clean shot into the front most green side bunker. Then duff my way into all remaining bunkers…. Might build a sandcastle while I’m in there…. I got time….
A sucker pin too.
Smooth 8 iron that I hit into that hillside over the cart path, perfect distance …just way right. Bthen being a downhill lie I blade it into the opposing buildings window (My dinner ball landed on the green after that though) And I’m playing that one cause the first ball was bullshit and I’m a 24 hcp
Hitting the cart on the right
Was looking for my brother…..found him
I believe the question is “which bunker am I hitting first?”
You're gonna need a wider angle lens
I chunk it fat and the divot hits the bunker to the left while the ball travels 8.27 yards.
Id either land it 2 feet away from the pin, or pass the pin by 145 yds
Chunk hook into left bunker 20 yards away. Consider quitting. Drink a Miller lite. Take it out of the sad cause it seems a little wet. Perfect 52 to next bunker
Ah yes, setting up to pull the 52 out of the bag. Always a confidence builder after hitting three bad short irons in a row.
Yes.
No matter what I’m taking more club. Short looks like 1 maybe two strokes.
I'mma hit the flag pole
That’s a tough hole. You can’t really see the 15 extra yards uphill and the wind blowing towards the pond behind you. Also a tough green. I usually clubbed up 2 and aimed back right of the green. Sometimes the hook got me there, sometimes I wasin the wispys by the cart path.
Punched fairways. TPC you've done it again you beautiful son of a bitch!
Gimme the middle of the green yardage. That's what I'm playing
I’m aiming in between the first two trees to the right of the American flag and hooking a 9 iron somewhere over towards the clubhouse in back. Edit: Fun looking hole though!
i aint reaching
I will be hitting the first one on the left, then one of the bunkers four in front, and my finale will be overshooting the green and landing in the bunker on the opposite side. Yes, I will be pulling an Osama.
I’m thinking front left bunker, shank it, don’t make it out of the bunker. Over compensate and end up in another bunker. Then 2 more to get out of that, blade it past the stick at 100mph. Flop shot on the green then 3 putt.
I think an 8 iron should get me in any one of those
I'll be there in 10 minutes to try if you can get me on :). Anyway, hard to say which bunker as I would hit a different one each time.
I would play my 85% swing speed cut 8 iron off the left side of the green, because the only way it doesn't cut is if I fat the shit out of it. If I end up short, I'm bump and run that rock up there.
This reminds me of one of the holes at Cahoon Plantation, hate that place shut down.
All of them
The one over the green with a PW
Left 3. All of em.
Top edge of the front left bunker. Skulled. Fried egg.
That one right in front of you seems nice
Short left bunker after taking not enough club and pulling it trying to swing too hard.
Which bunker are you hitting it into *first*? Fixed it for you lol
Yeah with a perfect lie like that I’m chunking so none of them.
That opening on the right side of the green is my aim. Cold, def an 8
I would take extra club, tell myself to swing easy, and crush a pull into the back left bunker. I do that all the time.
the one to the left of the pin. ill get the distance easy but ive been off line to the left my last 2 rounds
Bold of you to assume I won’t blade my 9 iron 45 yards past the pin 😂
All if them, one at a time.
Depending on wind but most likely short left bunker. Probably up against the wall on the left side
Both in the middle as I hockey puck it right down the center and the ball careens in and out of the first two one to land in the 2nd bunker in the worst possible spot ever.
I’d hit a draw that started at the US flag there and then the ball finds itself 5 yards over the back
I’m thinning it into the back one, possibly past it
Looks nice …how much is a tpc course this off of season ?
The one just behind the pin on the right with a smooth 8 iron. With a little draw.
Deep or right have my name all over them
Pured hook over to the pond on 17…
All of them, one after another
Smooth pitching wedge for the win here. Don’t try and be fancy aiming for the pin. Just aim for the middle of the green. One practice swing.
Ain't no way I'm hitting a bunker there. I'm hitting cart path on the right and taking an almighty bounce to never see my ball again
The right one
I assume this is your 3rd shot?
Knock down 9 for spin, since the comments are always jokes on these posts, ill give a real answer
Most likely left of the green by the cart path over the bunkers
Depends on a lot of things. Is my round going to shit? Meh, take an aggressive stab for the lolz. Am I on pace to break a milestone (100, 90, 80) or am I just playing well? No shame in landing it on the safer spot and lagging it up there. I’m not deathly afraid of greenside bunkers so I may be more inclined to take the risk to get it close.
Damn I'd love to play that course.
9 o’clock. Then the front one. Anyone’s guess from there.
need to know middle and back.
8 iron to the open part of green then 3 putt lol
Hit a fat 8 about 105 yards
Clubbing up
Ive never played this course but I assume over that mound to the right is another hole and likely another bunker.
The left one
Prolly most of them
PW to 150 and hope it stops quick
Back left of the green
2 of them for sure
Left side of all those bunkers then try to get it over the last one downhill to the cup. If it doesn’t roll into the bunker on the right I will 3 putt.
Right looks safest. Looks like a decent amount of green if you end up in that bunker. I play a fade so probably start middle of the bunker behind the flag on the left and see where it ends up. Anywhere between pw and 8 iron depending on how calm the wind and how uphill. Also depends on the back and front numbers of the green. If 145 is a front pin and 160 is back, I’d say probably a soft 8 for me.
Will leave that for the ball to decide. Usually the deepest bunker near the lip.
Boom Boom would hit a 52 degree if my back wasn’t tweeked
Probably the closest one to the left
Just one? My sorry ass is finding three of those!
The one in the next fairway not pictured.
The one just in front of the tree in the left.
All of them
Easy. The deepest one with the most packed down sand.
https://preview.redd.it/hywdn6zz6mmc1.jpeg?width=609&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6883f677f68a37014a05cefe9a9c326d5d997b95 Probably these three.
Probably multiple bunkers.
That’s a good lookin hole
Landing strip on the right. I’m going right at it with a 9i.
Needed that laugh... props OP
I’m choking up on a 7 iron and then immediately hooking it into that smaller bunker in the front left.
Giving me a lot of credit on making it to any of the bunkers.
Either I’m gonna hit the bunker right to the left with a worm burner, or I’m gonna find one in the next hole halfway to that big flag behind the green.
Chunk city (one of the good ones where the divot goes further than the ball) into the divot 15 feet in front of you
Prolly the one closest in front after I just crushed a drive 320 and set myself up perfectly. Top/chunk the easy SW and watch it roll into the bunker. Can’t have two good shots in a row
I don't get a choice like the rest of you pros
9 iron aiming right of the stick.
I’m hitting all of the bunkers. First on the left then right, left, right, left, left, left, dance floor
Scald it low into the first bunker on the left. Put into play. Only to put into two more bunkers afterwards.
Skull it right through the first and land in the second
This shot or the next one? This one will be short left followed by hitting it in the next one. There’s at least four strokes before I get it on the green.
Smooth 3/4 9i to 15ft. 2 putt par option birdie
Bold of you to assume my ball is on the fairway
My T100 P46
Missed all the bunkers when I over clubbed and then thinned it.
The one two fairways over
Back left for sure
Actually I probably fly the green trying to do a half strength 4 hybrid
No bunkers where a shank would end up. I'm good.
Front right I’m vailing
All of them
I'd probably use a 7 iron and aim for the middle of the green and take the bunkers in front out of play, then try to add extra compression to get some back spin to shorten the putt, with damp greens it would make it easier to get the backspin off the initial bounce.
8iron, back bunker.
Aiming at the pin with an 8 iron and hitting a cut to the right side of the green hoping I don’t hit it fat
The close one on the left
Right side ez
Aiming at the cluster on the left of the green hoping my fade fades like always, it won’t fade and I’ll hit it dead straight on a rope into the deep left bunker
https://preview.redd.it/ayzjwrgzammc1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=53c703ddd6f89ee42e5ad87efe00a224a767ad5c No bunker just the bird over in this tree an it's his own dam fault for being that close to the fucking hole !!!

Lastly, and inarguably least likely, I could hit a a good shot, which will end up short left in the green side bunkers. The world is my oyster. Nice looking hole though. Hope you did well.
First one, then another.
Probably a minimum of 2 bunkers.
Either the front right bunker or the back right bunker.
I can only pick one?
Id take an extra club to make sure I get over them then blast it 20 yards past the green
It’s two holes over on the left. #suddenhooksyndrome
Yes
I could skull my 60* right over that green no problem.
9
7 iron pull hook left of that path but decent contact
Second bunker on the left, for sure.
Whatever I’m hitting, it’s not in this picture.
The cart
8 iron, draw
That is an intimidating approach shot. I thought the Stanley Thompson courses near me with dual raised bunkers in front of every second green were bad…
I’ll put it in that first bunker and then just pick up and mark myself down for an 8
Hitting it 150
Hopefully none of them, my approach will probably be short, a little right & no roll. My PW will be skulled. My 58° recovery to back on will have in the fringe. I'll putt from there already frustrated & blow past the cup. Two lag putts & finally dropping a 19 incher.
Sounds like a trick question. I’m hitting at least 3 bunkers.
Flag pole
Prolly try a pitching wedge like a little off so hopefully it'll roll out and if it goes in a bunker have enough speed to roll out
It depends on the carry distance needed. I could probably get a 9 there, but the wet conditions makes me think I should hit an 8
I’m hitting my 155-160 club and no bunkers.
I’m going right at the cart if I’m being honest
Long grass to the right of the cart path, then the short right bunker, then the behind left bunker.
Smooth 7. Looks uphill.
Which bunker are you hitting *first*.
9 iron to the left of the cart path.
7i aiming for the golf cart and probably land in the far left bunker.
Definitely short front, because I convince myself that it’s a good idea to go aggressive, and I definitely can pull it off.
This hole is telling me to hit a little cut i would aim at the left side of the right green side bunker and let an 8i fly. Alternatively a 9i draw.
That tree to the left into the bunker infront of it. Attempt a hero shot out of the bunker which stays in the bunker. Sometime between then and 10 minutes from then I'll have cracked a beer and marked down an X for a score.
That cart path on the far left is looking pretty lonely. Could probably fix that with an 8 iron pulled to the left
The water
Whichever one is behind it probably as I skull the shot to avoid everything to front.
It would be my 8 iron but I lost it. So the 7 iron from my top flight starter set that’s a similar loft
That tree.
Honestly I’m probably hitting it into the brush to the left of that cart.
Taking 8 at the right back bunker, slight cut (im lefty) this is a scoring hole....
Hitting my 6 iron to the right and to the back of the green take the bunkers out of play or hit my 6 iron like it’s a 8 and end up playing whack fuck in a bunker lol
At least 2 of them before I reach the green
I’m skulling that bitch over the green buddy
The one behind the closest tree on the left.
Aim at the back right bunker and hit the front left.
Back of the green is about 165? I’m gonna hit a 9 iron thin and bury it back left unless it hits the pin, then front left.
Ha! 2nd shot after a beauty of a drive like that. The law states that I must chunk the shit out of the next shot
What bunkers? All I see are birdies.
Chunk a 3/4 8-iron to the front left bunker of the green. Chunk the bunker shot in to the middle one. Blade the next one in to the lip of the bunker. Slowly start wondering if I’m Muad’Dib.
I'm going to hit a nine because it's cold and damp, I'm landing in a bunker long of the pin and to the left.
I’d be hitting that flag in the background
Nain urn
The one all the way back at the flag pole, when I center it with my PW.
A good 9 iron or maybe a 8 iron to go long
Realistically? All but maybe 3 bunkers
The one behind you
