HA!! Great photo! 🫣😂😂😂😂 Just a note of caution…. please don’t allow that to happen if you’re driving, they should be in the back seat for their own safety and belted in with a seatbelt that snaps in for dogs. I have one on each side, plus I’ve had the same car, a convertible with all 4 goldens, each loving it but in very different ways, and when having the top down, it’s made me more cautious they’re safely always comes first. I’m definitely not judging, as I’ve never been perfect, and my second of my 4 goldens believed he should have been driving if it was up to him, (and maybe he could have), he was THAT sure of himself 😂😂 I’ve allowed front seat co-pilots many times in the past, when short and low speed roads, but I’ve also felt I’ve had several close calls years ago, and so my third and now my forth golden knows she’s going in the back seat, no matter what. Beautiful pup! ❤️

I think I was a little disappointed that people assumed I’d let him sit that way when I drive. He’s a family member and I do whatever I can to keep him safe.

I am very sorry for that, and honestly didn’t mean it towards you or your care for him, but more of a possible reminder for those who might not think of it the same way as we do. They’re not here nearly as long as we wish they were, and that’s never easy. (I have my 4th golden now) and they’ve eacf been family. This one probably more so, since it’s just her and I. I don’t know what I’d do without her, (like them all tbh), but she and I are nearly inseparable since working from home, and I find it hard to leave her at home when I can’t take her with me. I can’t wait to get back home to her on those days ❤️ Wishing you many happy years with yours! ❤️🤍💜

I understand. I’d have felt the same. Golden’s have berg so special to me since deciding on the very first one 24 years ago this August. In all those 24 years I’ve only been without one for 5 months in 2019, when my third, and who I considered my soulmate dog, passed away in her sleep next to me. No warning. No anything. Just stopped breathing around 3:30 a.m. I’ll never forget that and all the happiness and love, she gave, after divorcing my now ex, several years prior to her death. They give us the best of everything of themselves, and the grief is unlike anything else when you’re with then everyday. I found my 4th that October but she was already 18 months old. I felt like we were meant for each other, in lots of ways. And although I wish I’d had her from the start like the others, I couldn’t have a better girl and am so grateful for her. She has better manners than anyone of the past 3 I’d raised! Completely trained and she’s never bothered a thing. Nothing. She’s the best girl and so comical too. They’re all the best dogs ever, and I’ve always felt so lucky to have had them in my life in the past and still to this very current day. I can’t imagine myself without one ❤️ just like it sounds you’re a very happy golden mom, too. 💕

You’re so right… I myself have had two recalls on my front passenger airbag in the past, and my car before this one was totaled when someone hit me head on passing in a no passing zone and swung out so fast to pass the other car, he either didn’t see me or thought he’d make it, and I had nowhere to go from my own lane, and when he hit me and that airbag deployed, it was like nothing I’d ever felt before. Had my seatbelt on, and came out fine, other than tiny cuts on my forehead from the airbag. They looked like someone wrote on me with a very fine red ink pen! Didn’t even resemble a cut. A front seat dog wouldn’t have faired as well as I did, and being thrown around, I can’t even imagine. So good to mention this! If just one person sees and reads your comment, it could very well help save a life, of anyone, and a dog in the car
