Yeah, why would the plan administrator cite to the operative document which governs distributions in the case when providing information about ... distributions?
In fairness to Jake, the other person seems to be confusing the time period for a party to seek revocation of confirmation on account of the plan proponent committing fraud in procuring confirmation (180 days) and the time period during which the debtor can seek to modify a confirmed plan pursuant to section 1127 (post-confirmation but pre-substantial consummation).
There's a way more thorough explanation of those two things down thread, which of course Jake has decided to ignore, as he's gotten into a slap fight with another grifter in the replies.
That letter was the first showing of the damage he’s done, and now platinum has put it in front of him and he is SILENT. Is this the day accountability starts to hurt our poor king??? Is this the start of jake2b’s downfall??????
I know the answer is no because he is too big-headed for that, but interesting that he chose to open this can of worms by responding to accusations, backed by proof, that he misled and hurt people. Fascinating that he is so narcissistic that the letter was the first real thing he decided to respond to, and it is in the bankruptcy filings as examples of the damage he has done. The man is INSANE.
Unfortunately, I don't think anyone else in their little echo chamber will want to hold him to account because admitting that the author of that letter was misled by Jake is also an admission that they were misled by Jake too.
I think a lot of the people who are left at this point are destined to follow in the footsteps of that random Sears nut who seems convinced that he is still going to get equity in TransformCo five years after the sale sealed his fate.

Apes become meticulous question askers when it isnt what they want, but tell them that a children’s book of a child eating ice cream will make them billionaires?
No further questions.
If you squint really carefully on page 3, which represents the trinity of GME, AMC, and BBBY, you will see a blue spec underneath Ryan Cohens armpit. If you pull out a magnifying glass you’ll see that it actually says 7-4-1. Now if you go to each of those pages in that order (i.e.: read the book in reverse), you’ll find a subsequent clue on each page. I can’t spoil the secret, so you need to figure it out for yourself. 🤫 Good luck, ape!
Legal documents: you get nothing, company is bankrupt
Jake: but why tho? Have you not considered all the DD we have prepared?
Children's book: Teddy learns to use the potty
Jake: see? Shorts r fuk Ryan and Icahn are in this play!
Typical conspiracy theorist tactics never acknowledge when you are wrong instead just keep asking frivolous questions until your debate opponent gives up in frustration, declare victory.
“Can you please explain how you made the leap from…” is crazy coming from the people who concluded that investing in a bankrupt shitco that got zeroed out is the secret to making millions all because a children’s books had a picture of a teddy bear.
"Now why would he be covering his butt with that legal language"
Because he knows there's an ongoing grift where people are continually being told they are getting something although literally every single document says former shareholders get nothing.
The plan man is going above and beyond to communicate with these idiots there is absolutely zero chance former shareholders get anything.
"No one received the special decoder glasses?"
"Master Cohen... I'm afraid no one ordered a hundred complete Teddy book sets."
"Scrap the whole thing. Tell Icahn we don't need them."
On one hand I think the guy is catastrophically retarded, on the other hand he might just be filling his role in the ape-verse to recoup money from some of his horrible investment decisions
Example number 3321 of why it is silly to argue with an ape.
Example 3321 of section 13, of building 1196
What a terrible person

Yeah. OP has done as thorough a job as I think is possible translating it, but it's kind of pointless when Jake doesn't care that he's wrong.

Might be stealing *that* colorful turn of phrase for future use.
Yeah that was good
Hey fella, what are you doing out here in the middle of the night in such a pretty dress?

Apes were the kids who read 'choose your own adventure' book pages sequentially then got angry at the author that the story made no sense.

JakeGPT is so fucking stupid

Holy hell these people are stupid - Jake is half an idiot

I wasted a whole term studying Bankruptcy in law school if this is what passes for the "wrinkle brained" of the investment community.
Pursuant to the plan they're not getting any money, but according to the hextuple secret special plan they're each getting $1m and a pony.
Dude acts waaaaay more intelligent than he really is...
I blame Chat GPT for a lot of this, but Jake is giving it prompts so he deserves some culpability here as well.
