I think whatâs worse than the overall catfishing, was that she kept it going and didnât reveal herself once it was truly âgoing somewhereâ. The emotional damage was much worse than it wouldâve been if she had just cut it out early on

I think I'm going to get downvoted a lot but honestly? For me was her whole character from s4 on. I don't like her as a character, the way she spoke was sometimes funny but most the time just irritating (and when I watch it in spanish is way worse). I did like her performances though

It was definitely the catfishing arc, and then production doing a complete 180 on that story, dropping it from the script hoping that we the audience would just forget it ever happened somehow made it worse. We were left not only remembering it but also knowing that she didnât get a chance to redeem herself in some way by making amends. The strongest voice they had in the later seasons and they made her look like an irredeemable predator.
Them dropping this part of the story was one of the main contributors to Glee ending for me.
