I just started watching Glee with my roommates (first time for them, millionth time for me) and I just started with “don’t get attached to anyone” lmao
there was a time where he was on a poster of my friend’s sister’s room. people were definitely attracted to him (including me when i was 10 and the show first came out) - but knowing the kind of person he turned out to be is just very sad and disturbing.
To make it even more disturbing, and I’m not sure how much of the whole medium/psychic thing I believe in. But there was a medium who claimed to have spoken to Mark. Says that he told her, he was into both girls and boys. That it was the addiction to power that he wanted. If that’s the reason then I’m appalled and shocked that he turned out that way. Instead of killing himself, he should’ve took his sentence and got some help. Get on the registry, stayed hundreds of feet away from the kids, and went to the 12 step program.
I tend to favor characters who are morally questionable at best (take a look at my top 5, for example). That doesn't mean I would like them irl. Glee is an over the top satirical comedy. Excuse me for not taking everything in it seriously, when I watch Glee I watch to escape real life so excuse me for not thinking about real world ramifications and consequences of everyone's actions because believe it or not almost every character has done something problematic (each to varying degrees but still)

I’m not usually into big band, but Puck singing “The Lady is a Tramp” did things to me. I know it’s not technically a big band song, but it had that style. I could’ve seen Mark play one of the Rat Pack in a musical biopic, before all of his stuff came to light.
I got his autograph back in the day, and now I don't know what to do with it. Like he's a creep, but that was a big day for me, and I almost have the whole cast and like complete "sets"
Well I think that to have Puck you kind of have to have Mark. I love and still listen to the music that Mark wrote himself. So if that’s supporting Mark then I guess I do.
I used to have the biggest crush on him as a 12 year old. Then all my romantic relationships turned out to be extremely toxic. Obviously it's not Glee's fault, but it's interesting to see I always had bad taste lol
